Chapter 22: The surprise trip! (Preparations and departure)

Ugh.

Rainy season.

It's lovely and very romantic too.

But when is about transportation and commodities,it's very hard.

Not only I'm going to school with my warmest socks to school,I'm also wearing a sweater,then the school jacket because it's so cold! Leen has been wearing thick jackets and Sofia too. And we all have to carry umbrellas or we'll end up showered.

This morning I decided to take the bus with my brother. Last night I looked everywhere for the card and after an hour I found it. We waited at the station and my brother said

- I wish I was in Cartagena or Villa De Leyva. It's warmer there...-

- Sounds like a good plan!- I said. Then the bus arrived.

I was in class before it started,then Yao just jumped in,happy as he could ever be. Even of his shoes were wet,he was still jumping around. Then he jumped as landed on my desk!

- Aiyah! Isabel! My father has a summer house near La Vega! Do you want to go? It's great-aru!- La Vega! My eyes widened! That region is so warm,tropical climate and the scenery is pretty!

- Wow! Thanks! But... How fast did they build this house?- I asked. Yao smiled and seemed full of... Something.

- Never underestimate the Chinese-aru!-

- Pardon? Everywhere you go with your dad's company you always bring like half of the Chinese population!- said Arthur - Bloody hell! You make a China Town everywhere you go!-

- You're a good boyfriend.- and then he smiled.

Yao kept handing invitations,the list was Sofia,Leen,Arthur,Feliciano,Lovino,Antonio,Francis,Gil,Kiku and Ludwig (♡!). I said it would be nice if he invited Ivan because... He deserves a break from his crazy sisters. Valeria couldn't go because she was still punished from the stunt she pulled on us.

- I don't understand why you're dragging me into this you two...- said Ludwig staring at Gilbert and me. - Well,I don't mind Isabel,but Gil...-

-Kesesesese~- Gil just hugged his brother and kept saying "I'm awesome!"

- It will-a be fun,right fratello?- said Feliciano as Lovino fell asleep before class started. Ivan was just relieved he wouldn't spend the weekend with his sisters. Well,Antonio was with his happy-go-lucky personality. The teacher came in and yelled

- What's with this ruckus? Everyone silence,class is going to begin!- of course,everyone obeyed. No one wants to get on a teacher's bad side.

Today I visited my grandpa from my mom's side,yay! He's very nice and I love him a lot! My stepgrandma is very nice too,I love her too,but she always tells me "Stand like this" "This won't make you look fat" and it's... Irritating.

I was telling this Ludwig (holding hands,like we always do) all the way to my grandpa's apartment. It was near the school and it's very nice.

- Ja,it's tiring when people tell you that...- he said.

- I feel she prefers my cousins,because they are fit or win a trophy or things like that.- I said. My grandma from my dad's side always tells me how wonderful I am and how proud she is. Also my grandpa.

- She says those things because she loves you... She wants you to look your best so she says those things.- said Ludwig then he kissed my forehead.

I said goodbye to Ludwig and the guard let me in. Then I went to the apartment and I when the maid opened the door she said

- Isabelita! Hello! Your mother is here!-

- Hello!- I said - And my mom is here?- I asked

- Yes,and I don't know why...- I went inside and went to the living room. My mom and my grandpa were talking there.

- Not him,his mother. She said she invites you and some other friends this weekend to their house in La Vega. And...- I went down to my hands and knees and said

- Please let me go,I'm dying of cold here,please! Yao is a very nice person,and my friends are going too! Please!-

- Of course you'll go. Just that your classmate's family is...- my mom was trying to look for a word to describe them.

I was packing. It was Friday after school and they came in some hours in the car so we could go to the house in La Vega! I was so exited! Even if it was only the weekend. My backpack was little but it was almost full. I received many messages from Leen saying "ORE SAMA IS READY! =^_^=" And from Sofia saying "Water,water,water~ I'll be able to swim al the time! :3"

I was ready: comfortable cute (my lace t-shirt,black pants) clothes,backpack,a book,phone,earphones and charger. I was ready. With a capital "r". I was Ready.

The car parked in front of the building and Yao came out of the copilot seat.

- ISABEL-ARU!- he yelled. Then a woman came out,she was dressed elegant but simple and she yelled

- YAO,ITS COLD OUTSIDE! YOU CANT GO OUT WITHOUT A JACKET-ARU!- it was his mother. She jumped over him and put his jacket over him. I said goodbye to everyone and went down quickly. I arrived and Yao's mother sId

-Is this your friend? So pretty!-she patted my head. Her Chinese accent was very funny to hear. The car was a large,black van. It looked very expensive to me. Oh well,I entered and I saw that all of the guys were rubbing their cheeks.

- Do your cheeks hurt?- I asked

- After Yao's mother squishing them,Ja.- said Ludwig

- She squished all of our cheeks and then she said we were very handsome... Wang-san has a very mysterious way of greeting.- said Kiku. I just sat down and decided to hear music. This will be a long trip,but fun!
