Chapter 3 : Dear Dairy

I ran upstairs to my room closing the room door behind me. I jumped on the bed. Tears beaming down my cheeks as my eyes turn red as blood.

You might have thought what happened. Well I ran , I didn't talk to my dad any further, all I did was run out from the garden and to my car.

There was a knock at my door. I didn't feel the need to talk to anyone , especially not about today.

"I'm fine". I lied , newly built tears making their way out my eyes.

"I don't care , I'm coming in". I hear my moms voice call. She opens the door and comes inside the room shutting the door with her foot. "What happened?". she wipes away the falling tears.

"Dad ....him and his perfect family". I finally managed to choke out.

"Honey if you knew that going there was going to hurt you....why go?". she asks wiping the tears away.

"Be- because I thought it would be different.... But Amy just had to be the Bit- ......you know what I mean". I was now sobbing less than before. "But I don't care...I'm not perfect enough for his family".

"You don't have to be perfect Hope". she tells me."I think being yourself is just fine". She takes a seat on the bed .

"You know your right...who needs them ? I got you and Alexis...that's all I need". I sat up in my bed.

"Exactly.. now your favorite for Dinner?".

"You would do that for little ole me?". I smile.

"I would give you the world if I had to". She kissed my cheek and walked out.

After Dinner I went upstairs and took a long shower. An hour to be exact. I picked out my Tinkerbell pajamas from the top drawer. After I was dressed I turned on Netflix and started skipping through the latest movies.

Knowing I would give up and watch Thor instead.

I found nothing that sparked my mind so I clicked on Thor. My phone started to buzz and I reach over to see Alexis picture pop up on the front screen. I click to answer.

"So?". She says weirdly.

"So?". I reply.

"Tell me what happened ! ....Geez do I have to beg?".

I started to laugh knowing she was more curious as to what happened at the Dinner than my mom.

"Well....nothing happened". I said smiling from ear to ear.

"Nothing happened? Your lying!". She starts to pant."You kissed Caleeb? wait ..no no no it's better , another ice tea landed on the witches dress? Did she melt this time?".

"Woah". I call out.

"Can't help a girl from guessing ...can you?".

I couldn't help but laugh at the guesses she was making. Soon enough she joined in the laugh.

"Nothing like that happened but I wish it did.....Amy had to ruin the Dinner...and my feelings". I mutter underneath my breath.

"Amy?". she hissed.
