When I look at you

KLAUS' POV

My Samantha hasn't held down blood in months?! What is the problem? Why wasn't she desiccated? I looked at her with actual fear in my eyes. I never felt fear, but this was my child. I took her hand and brought her with me. This was a private conversation that no one needed to hear. She pulled out of my grasp when we reached the woods. "What?" She said. More like a statement than a question. "Will you be okay, Samantha?" I asked. Straight to the point. She shrugged her shoulders. 

I turned from her. I know she never says what she really thought or her true fears she sings them. What was I to do? I looked at her and ordered her "Sing me something." She looked confused. She stood there and asked "Why?" I smiled. I couldn't help it. Music never was a part of my life but her voice soothed me. "I need you to sing for me right now." I finally turned to her with tears down my cheeks. She was the only person I cared about but when she told me she was pregnant, I became in love with the child too. "I don't have my guitar." She stated. "Yes you do." I looked to the left and saw Kol with a guitar in hand. I nodded a thanks. She grabbed the guitar and sat on the ground. I didn't like her sitting on the ground. She deserved so much more than that. 

She strummed the guitar.I heard footsteps, turned and saw Damon, Stefan, Rebekah, and Elijah. Did they not get that I needed her alone? They came back but I don't think she noticed them as she started to hum. She started to sing. It was the most beautiful thing I heard.
