My mom got severely stressed and so she was admitted to the hospital.

After several weeks she's still in that hospital.

I can't visit because of my term exams and because of that I got into an argument with my dad.
I know my exams are not important compared to my mother, but if I miss my exams I might as well be expelled from this school.

(One week later)

My exams ended yesterday and I'm flying down to Toronto today.

(Two hours later)

I reached Toronto 2 hours ago and I'm trying to catch a taxi,

once I reached the hospital after catching a taxi,

I asked for my mom and the lady at the reception said room 419.

I reached there only to hear my mom sobbing.

I knocked on the door and walked in.

My dad was surprised to see me and my mom a little happy.
I went and hugged them both,

We talked for while
and then they said the most heartbreaking thing to me,

my mom was diagnosed with leukemia.
