Today I sang during music nobody judged me, they actually smiled and clapped for me.
You weren't there, but your friends were, they also didn't judge me, I think they actually,
respect me.
During lunch you came up to me and said that just because I can sing, and that I earned the respect of his friends and some of the people at our school,
doesn't mean the abuse will ever stop.
I think that was the first time you actually addressed the fact that you abuse me,
my mom, found a few bruises scattered around my body. I knew she wanted to ask me whether I was self-harming,
I will never forget the face my mom made when I told her that,
I was self-harming.
I know I will never forgive you for what you have done,
But you have my heart in your palm. When you tell me to kill myself I will,
I've tried. I'm waiting for you to tell me that I should kill myself .I'm waiting for you to mean it.
I still see the doubt in your eyes.
I still see the hesitation.
I still see the fake facade you put up.
I still see you're breaking inside.
