When he saves you from the Upside Down.
Jenna and Hopper were prepared to die. They were stuck, no way out, no way to call someone for help, and were slowly suffocating.
But then she heard a noise. Jim had passed out, but was breathing. It sounded like something breaking through. Jenna started to panic, what if it was the Demogorgon coming back?
Then she heard a yell, and it sounded like...Joyce? Shit. Now she was hallucinating. And Steve. She heard her name. All she could do was wait to see if she died or they came.
"Baby?" Steve round the corner, and Joyce runs to Hopper from behind him.
"S-Steve?" Jenna furrows her eyebrows and peers at the boy standing in front of her.
"Oh god." He whispers and picks her up, helping her walk towards Joyce and Jim. Joyce has just cut him loose and helped him get up.
Jenna wrapped her arms around Steve and immediately started to sob.
"I thought I lost you." He sniffles and hugs her tighter.
And in her mind, at that moment, everything was perfect. Even though it wasn't, it was at that moment. Back to the normality of life.
