One-Shot Marichat mostly

Wake up

I was brushing Chat's hair away when a knock was heard on my door. The kwamis hid and I creeked the door open to see my parents looking at me. They look very guilty but don't regret kind of look. 

"Honey, can you come down so we can sit and talk," Dad asked me

"Marinette, we know you every right to protest for getting Chloe to change her ways, but we don't want you participating..." Maman said

"No." I said disagreeing and not liking where this is headed.

"Marinette..." dad started to say

"No dad,mom I'm not going to just sit back and let this happen without me. Do you know what you're saying is for me to not participate in something or actually someone who made my life pitiful. She bullied me and stills does. She abuses her dad's power. This protest is something that could change that. I am sorry that you want me to step away from this, but I'm not sorry for doing this protest. Nothing you say will make me change my mind!" I say with a little of Ladybug's confidence. 

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, understand that if you do this, you will be punished and this won't be something that will be taken lightly!" Maman argued back.

I look up and see the two kwamis. They both are shaking their heads saying don't defy them. I know I always let them choose the choices and I always listen. I guess today is really a different day.

"Then punish me. Just know I will take in that protest and I am willing to take any punishment. Nothing is gonna stop me from helping in that protest." I said determined.

I  look into their eyes and what I see is not what I expected. Happiness. And love. 

"I'm glad you pass the test, Mari. We really are proud of what you are doing." they hug me tight as I froze in shock. I don't understand. They were...testing me? 

"Marinette, we know you been seeing Chat for a while. We know he took a place in your heart and your gonna stick up for him." Papa said

I nod head to them saying continue. 

"We know he is a good kid but not a life. He seeks you out just for some type of comfort. We love you and happy seeing you stick up to us for him." Maman said

"Well then I presume you will be helping with the protest then?" Plagg came in swooshing down

My parents stared at him with gaping jaws. Then Maman squeals and goes clinging to Papa. 

"Bugcat!!" she screamed

"Again, I am a kwami not no bugcat." Plagg said exsapertly

"Maman, Papa I want you to meet Plagg, Chat Noir's kwami who helps him transform into his superhero costume. " I introduced Plagg

"If he is what transform Chat Noir, then does that mean he is in his civilian form right now?" questioned Papa

"No, I made him a suit and mask so he could be cozier in here without being Chat Noir but still keep his identity." I told them

They just nod there heads and look away. 

"Soooo... you gonna join the protesting?" he asked my parents

They nod there heads and look away after that. Plagg was left cackling at their own shyness. 

"I am just going to go upstairs and go to bed and yea..." I say awkwardly

I rush upstairs with Plagg following me. I start to get in the bed when I see Chat. I pick him and bring him to the chaise. 

"Goodnight Kitten." I kissed his forehead. I go into the bed and starting snoozing.
