79 - Meeting Huma

A Phoenix with a height of 40 meters and a wingspan of 60 meters is now standing in front of a delicate-looking youth. The youth's height is akin to an ant in compare with the Phoenix in front of him but rather than being afraid of the gigantic beast, he was looking at the Phoenix with great interest and veneration.

Earlier, a bright light enveloped every human cultivator and the moment they opened their eyes once again, they found themselves standing in a plain white field devoid of any existence aside from the Phoenix. Each of the cultivators was teleported to a separate place like this.

The Phoenix's red eyes intently looked at the calm-looking youth as his eyes widened in surprise. The Phoenix's proud head lowered down and moved closer to the standing youth. The youth's body instinctively stepped back by the abrupt movement of the Phoenix.

"..."

"Y-you..." A mysterious deep voice emanated from the Phoenix.

"Are you... Lord Yin?" The Phoenix's voice softened as he probed the delicate-looking youth from head to toe.

"This junior isn't called Lord Yin... This lowly junior's name is Yulrir." Yulrir woke up from trance and hurriedly cupped his fist forward and bowed politely.

The Phoenix paused for a moment and withdrew his head back away from Yulrir.

"You can come out now..." The Phoenix's voice rang out again afterward a bright green light appeared in between the delicate-looking youth and the gigantic bird.

A small figure of a child took form after the bright green light subsided. This figure is familiar-looking as it was none other than Small Seed.

"Small Seed?!" Yulrir gawked out softly as the little child excitedly bounced towards him. Yulrir being familiar with Small Seed, he instinctively opened his arms and caught Small Seed like a mother carrying an infant.

"How d--" Even before Yulrir can ask a follow-up question, Small Seed extended his little arms towards the gigantic bird and pointed his index finger out.

"HuHu!!! You are bullying Father ah!" Small Seed pouted towards the Phoenix.

"..."

"So he was indeed Lord Yin! No wonder! " The Phoenix, Huma, said in a gleeful tone.

"Hmmph! Small Seed can't believe you didn't notice it the moment they arrived here in your realm." Small Seed crossed his arms and pouted.

"I apologize for my rudeness Lord Yulrir... It's been a while! Oh! Alright... It seems like you haven't recovered your memories yet, that's understandable... My name is Huma, I am Lord Regalia's beast companion! Oh..! Small Seed... Long time no see! " Huma chose to ignore Small Seed's lament and politely greeted the two.

Yulrir was stunned for a moment because of Huma's sudden change of attitude. He only bowed in response. "Nice to meet you Senior Huma! "

"Aah! Lord Yulrir, you don't need to bow on me like that! " Huma called out in panic.

"Ah?!" Yulrir can't help but stay still and apologetically look at Huma and Small Seed without knowing what to do.

"Haha... It seems like HuHu's rank had progress a lot during the past few years!" Small Seed happily clapped his hands and looked at Huma with bright eyes.

"You tell that to yourself Small Seed... You reached the late stage God level! Your strength is already comparable to me. I'm although surprised that your appearance did not change over the years. " Huma nodded with satisfaction.

"HuHu you're the one to talk! You only grown big but you still look like that ah! " Small Seed animatedly waved his hands.

"Oh! By the way HuHu... You'll be surprised if you check on the other candidates too..." Small Seed added.
