Chapter Sixteen

Sophies pov.

8am,me and Rye are up and getting ready for the long journey home. Its a 3 and a half hour train ride,to be honest I'll probably sleep most of it.
I wear some comfy clothes and light makeup.

We're packing our bags into the uber ready to leave. I see kaitlyn walk out the building towards us,I run over to her.

"I'll see you soon"

"please be careful"

"I'll be fine,I've got Rye"I smile at her.

"I'll miss you"We hug and I then hug the rest of the boys.

"bye"we both shout as we get in the uber to leave.

Skip to arriving at the house.

We pull upto the house that I grew up in,falling down,overgrown bushes,broken windows. It has not changed so I assume neither have my parents,they don't deserve nice things.

"this is where you grew up"Rye looks at me concerned,I nod.

"I loved it but I suppose that's because it's all I ever knew"

"I'm here now"he wraps his arm around me.

We walk up to the door,I knock and my mum comes to the door. Her hair is messy and dirty and she is wearing dirty clothes.

"mum"she smiles but looks sad.

"hey,come in"I look at Rye and rise my eyebrows.

"er,this is Rye. We're getting married"she shoots her head round.

"very well,I'm happy for you"she smiles.

"thank you,wheres dad?"

"he left"

"where?"

"I don't know"

"ok..."

"Rye,please don't hurt her. Look after her,don't let her turn out like me. Give your children anything and everything they need"

"I won't and I definitely will"

"good lad,your brother now looks after Allie (my sister) and they're heading over here later"

"ok mum"I drag Rye upstairs to my room.

"I'll clean it before we go to sleep,my mum obviously doesn't change the sheets"

"I want to help her"

"why? She doesn't deserve it,shes the one that brought us up like this"

"she doesn't want you to turn out like her,she doesn't want our kids to grow up like you did. She deserves more"

"we don't have the money"

"well figure it out"

"we have a wedding to pay for,we will more than likely move out and have kids. She doesn't want our kids to grow up like I did,we need the money"

"your mum has nothing!"

"she should have thought about her life when she had the chance!"

"I can't believe you don't want to help you mum"

"I can't believe you do"

"I can't belive you!"

"what ever,we'll put our lives to the side. We'll help her first,then get married in a few years"

"we're not broke"

"but we don't have masses of money"

"your right but we don't have to give her the nicest things just enough so that she can have a nice life"

"ok fine,I'll do it and I'll ask my brother as well"

"thank you"he gives me a kiss.

I hear the door open.

"Harley!"I run down the stairs and hug him.

"hey Lil sis"he hugs back.

"I missed you"

"I missed you more"I look up at him and kiss his cheek.

"hey Allie"I hug her and kiss her head.

"hey soph"she hugs back.

"who's that?"Harley points to Rye who's stood behind me.

"this is Rye,he's my boyfriend"Harley gives him a stern look.

"I'm not going to give the big brother talk every male does but please look after her"

"I will"he smiles.

We all go and sit in the livingroom,I decide to tell my brother and sister about us getting married.

"guys me and Rye need to tell you something"

"what?"my brother looks concerned.

"we're getting married"I smile.

"omg yayyyyyyyy"Allie screams.

"congrats"Harley hugs us.

"I was also thinking that I obviously want Allie to be one of my bridesmaids but I also wanted you to walk me down the issle"I look up hopefully at Harley.

"I'd be honored"

"thank you"

"I'm a bridesmaid!"allies a bit excited.

"yes you are"I smile.

"Rye,let's get to know you. What do you do for a living?"

"I'm in a band called roadtrip"

"can I see some of your music?"

"yeah of course,we have loads of covers on YouTube and two eps"

Rye gets his phone out and shows them all some of the covers. I'm really happy that they're getting on.

"wow mate,you and your bands really good at singing"

"thanks"

After that I decide to talk to Harley about helping mum.

"Harley can I talk to you"

"yeah sure"We walk upstairs to my room.

"well Rye wanted to help my mum"

"why?"

"because he feels bad for her,she did sound sincere but I didn't tell him she didn't deserve it"

"she doesn't but I suppose it's a good idea because there's nothing she can do now"

"I could give her a job at my place then we could go half's on a flat for her"

"I'll take her shopping"

"good idea,this is a good thing we're doing. Tell Rye he's a good man"

"I tell him everyday"I smile and walk back to Rye.

"everything ok"he asks.

"amazing"

"good"

We talk some more then me and Rye decided to go upstairs.

"Rye"

"yes babe"

"I talked to Harley about helping mum"

"and"

"he said it's a good idea"

"I'm glad,you might not think she deserves it but I do. She made you,without her I would never have met you and I would never have been able to love anyone as much as I love you"

"I love you Rye"I kiss his lips.

"love you too"he kisses back.

We lay there and cuddle. I love Rye and I'm very glad I chose him and nobody else.
