Once Bitten, Twice Shy.

We spent the day lying in bed each minute that passed my sadness began to kick in knowing he was going to be leaving me of course I didn't want him to leave but how could I ask him to stay.

I felt his breathing slow as his breaths turned into small sighs he sat up and looked at me "You have to go now?" I asked he nodded and pulled me into a hug "If you need anything please call me I'll be on the first flight home I promise!" He said I nodded "I know just have fun don't worry about me." I said "I'll call every chance I get." He said "Okay... But seriously babe don't worry about me the whole time enjoy your shows have fun I promise I'll be alright." I said he hugged me tighter "I love you so much!" He said "I love you too!!" I replied my lips reach for his, they soon touched mine softly.

He got up from the bed, his hand still entangled in mine he brought it to his lips and kissed my fingers then he moved his hands to my stomach "Bye buddy take care of your mommy." He said before kissing my stomach I giggled I know he was kidding but I also know a part of him was serious leaving this time was so different than the times he left before.

After a few minutes of saying goodbye, kissing and saying goodbye again he finally left, I laid there alone allowing my thoughts to fill the air.

I spent the next few days in bed, TV became my new best friend well the channels that didn't show me all over them replaying my tragedy every day, occasionally a nurse would come to help me get up and walking. All this quiet gave me time to piece together the night in my head replaying over and over each detail as it came to me.

The officers came by again I told them each thing I had forgotten before the confirmed that one of them men's name was Roger and I had to go to the station and identify them. Seeing their faces made me sick literally I threw up maybe it was the baby but seeing them was horrific. I got out of there as quickly as possible pictures of me leaving the police station flooded the internet.

Days went by the doctor came in "How are you feeling?" He asked "Okay." I said "Well all the tests came back okay and I think if you'd like to go home we can just have a nurse come to check on you for a few days make sure everything is okay...if you'd like." He said I nodded "I'd like to get out of this bed." I replied he smiled "I figured you'd say that... I'll get the paperwork done and we'll get you out of here." He said "Thank you!" I said

I grabbed my phone off of the table and turned it on notifications began flowing in I called Crystal "Hello Aaliyah how are you?" she asked "I'm alright... would it be okay if I stay at the mansion for a while?" I asked "Yes of course we'll get your room ready." She said "Okay thank you so much!" I said "No problem." She replied "I'll be getting out of the hospital today so I'll be over soon." I said "Okay we'll send a car for you." She said "Thank you." I said then we hung up

The doctor came in with my paper work I signed everything and then the nurse unhooked me from all the machines. The nurse helped me get dressed she walked me down the hall holding my arm "Are you sure you don't want me to get a wheelchair?" She asked "No its fine." I replied

She walked me outside cameras flashed and people yelled I quickly got in the car and headed to the mansion.

Once I arrived at the mansion I walked inside Crystal met me at the door she hugged me tight "What happened?" She asked "Can we sit down?" I asked she nodded and we walked into the dining room I hugged Hef "Oh Aaliyah we are so glad you are alright." He said

I sat down at the table "So what happened we've heard so many things." Crystal said "Well Sam came and picked up the girls... and then that woman... was just in the house... I remember going to grab my phone and she pushed me down and I hit my head and I guess I fell on her knife..."I said "It stabbed you?" Crystal asked I nodded I lifted my shirt to show them the wound "It didn't hurt the baby?" Hef asked "No... It missed the uterus thank goodness..." I said "She said they had been watching us for weeks... she asked about Justin and the girls..." I said tears filled my eyes "But Justin has security how did they not notice her?" Hef asked I shrugged "I don't know... who knows how they were watching... or if it was just the three of them." Crystal said I covered my mouth "I never even thought maybe there are more... what if someone else is out there..." I said scared "It's alright Aaliyah you are safe here." Hef said I nodded "I'm going to call Sam and see if she'll bring the girls over." I said "Okay we set you up a room down here so you didn't have to climb the stairs." Crystal said "Thank you!" I said "Of course if you need anything let us know." Hef said "I will." I said
