Fifty-Four

We've been husband and wife for five hours and I'm still in shock that I'm married to this amazing woman.

We're at the place where Miley decided to have our wedding reception, everyone is eating and she's feeding Luke in the back right now so I'm just chilling drinking some whiskey.
"How do you feel?" Ryan asks coming up to me and sitting next to me, beer in hand.
"Honestly, fucking amazing" I say with a smile on my face, he smiles too nodding
"Good, it makes me happy seeing you this way bro" He says
"Thanks..for everything Ry. You have helped me more than you think" I confess, it's true he's been with me since the very start and has helped me through so much, especially after Drew died then when Miley lost her memory, he's always brought me back down to earth whenever I was somewhere up in the clouds not thinking straight.
"We're brothers, I'll always have your back" He says, we first bump then Miley comes up with Luke in her arms both smiling and giggling making my smile widen
"I'll leave you with your family" Ryan says standing up then he goes off to the bar where Danielle is sitting
"How's my little guy" I say as Miley hands him to me so she can sit. He reaches for my face and makes baby noises
"Have you eaten?" Miley asks, I shake my head to which she gives me a look then she calls over one of the waiters and gets us some food
"You need to eat" She says
"I know, good thing I have you to keep me well fed" I say, she shakes her head smiling as the food is brought to us

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt but I'd like to say a couple words in honor of our newlyweds" The music stops as Harry speaks into the mic, we all turn to him giving him our attention. Miley smiles as I wrap my arms around her ready to hear what he has to say
"First of all, congratulations. I pray you two love each other with so much passion and that you'll both learn from one another throughout this marriage. Secondly, Jason...I want to publicly welcome you to the family and I want everyone to know that even though the way you two met wasn't one of fairytales, it was unusual, that we have put it behind us and are happy to have you apart of our family seeing how happy you make Miley. She brings everyone in the family together and is what holds us all up with her strength and happiness so seeing how happy she is beside you brings us so much joy. I speak on behalf of Will, Kate, and our grandmother when I say, thank you and welcome to the family" He says, people clap and I smile nodding at him as a thank you. Miley gets out of my arms and goes to hug him with tears in her eyes. Then Danielle goes up smiling widely

"For those of you who don't know I am the brides best friend almost like a sister, Danielle. And I just want to say, I'm so happy to see you smiling so wide again Miley. After so much tragedy surrounded you, you found love in someone so unexpectedly and I'm happy you did. You deserve to be loved and to be happy. Now, Jason....if you hurt my best friend I will hurt you twice as much. But I know you won't because you've showed just how much you love her, you've risked your life, others lives, you've changed what people thought you couldn't change. You've demonstrated your love and compassion for this beautiful woman. So I'm just standing here to say, congratulations you two, I wish you two blessings on blessings in your marriage" She says, claps go off and she comes down to hung Miley and me
"Thanks Dani" I say, she nods. I down the last of my whiskey then go up on stage

"I want to start off by thanking you all for being apart of this beautiful memorable day, I also want to say thank you to Harry for those words and Danielle as well. Now I just want to tell my beautiful wife, god that sounds so nice calling you, my wife" I say looking at Miley who smiles, "I just want to tell you, more like thank you, for giving me a chance. For letting me love you, and for you loving me. I never thought I'd marry someone, let alone fall in love with someone. I used to think I wouldn't make it to 25 and I'm almost there, I also didn't believe in love, but thanks to you I know what it is and how it feels. I also want to thank you for being the mother to my child and future children. I love you so much babe, I'm so thankful to God to have you as my wife" I say, people clap and she wipes her tears then I get down and go to her giving her a deep kiss
"I love you" She whispers
"I love you" I say then hug her
"Back to the music!" Za yells then the DJ starts the music back up and everyone starts dancing
"I can't wait to be alone with you" I whisper as we hold each other close, our foreheads touching
"Away from the world" She whispers back, I lean down and kiss my wife.

All the wedding guests are gone, expect our families. We are in our rented home, all in the living room. Miley and I have changed ready to get on the jet for our honeymoon, which means we have to say goodbye because after these two weeks in paradise, we are off the worlds radar.
"It's really happening" William says, Miley nods
"We need to do this, I love being a role model and having a voice in the world but I want to live a normal life with my husband and our son" She says
"We understand love, we're just going to miss having you beside us" Her grandmother speaks
"We'll see each other, hidden but that doesn't matter" Miley says
"How are you guys doing this?" Harry asks
"We have a whole crew helping us make it believable, we'll all be safe, don't worry about anything. I'll get in touch when we're settled" Miley tells him

"Let's take one last family picture before you guys go" Kate says, everyone gets set up, Miley and I are in the middle of the huge group and Danielle sets up the camera
"Ten seconds!" She says then rushes into the group as the countdown starts, Miley holds me tight with one arm while the other holds Luke and I kiss her head just as the flash goes off
"Have fun, and good luck bro" Ryan says
"We'll get in touch soon" I say, then we hug and as Miley, Luke and I head out, everyone starts giving us hugs and their blessing then we get in the car and drive off to the airport.
