Twenty-Five

Five Days Later

I am back in NYC with my best friends, a week until Jason's court day. Derek never got back to me about whether or not he's going to testify but I gave his name to the lawyer so he can have it ready, just in case.

Right now Dani is out buying three pregnancy tests, Bryan still has no clue so we are going to make an excuse for him to leave the place and give us enough time to see if I am or am not pregnant.
"Okay, I got them" Dani says stepping out of the elevator, Bryan walks in a second later
"Bryan, can you go get us some Starbucks?" I ask, he groans
"You guys have feet" He says
"So? Come on, be a good friend" Dani says, he sighs
"Fine, only because I was going to call home" He says walking to the elevator grabbing his jacket from the hook
"Thank you!" Dani and I say as he gets in and the doors close
"Okay, lets do this then" I say, she nods and we go to the bathroom

It's been a little over ten minutes, that's how long it's supposed to take for the stick to show a positive sign or a negative one.
"Ready to look?" Dani asks, I shake my head
"I'm scared" I say, she smiles a bit and hugs me
"No matter what it shows, it'll all be okay" She says rubbing my back
"I want to be pregnant but at the same time I don't because of the circumstances we're in" I say, she pulls away
"Pregnant or not, God made that decision for a good reason. Now, lets take a look" She says, I nod grabbing her hand and holding it tight as we walk into the bathroom looking in the sink where three pregnancy tests lay all with..

Jason's POV

"McCann, visitor!" The guard yells opening my cell making me sit up from the bed
"Who is it?" I ask standing up with my hands extended before me so he could cuff me
"A man" He says pulling me out, making me walk in front of him. We arrive to the door and he un-cuffs me then pushes me inside slamming the door shut behind me.

"Damn what a dick" I look up at to the source of the voice to see my Dad. My heart stops for a second as I try to process this
"Dad?" I say, he looks emotionless. I can't tell if he's happy or pissed, his face is blank.
"I always wanted to hear the news that you had been arrested since the day you left the house with your brother. I thought I'd feel happy and relieved that you aren't doing illegal things but when I heard you turned yourself in and all because of the Princess of England, I was in shock, relieved to hear you were alive but shockingly, I felt upset" He says, I don't know if I should sit across from him or stay standing but I stay standing

"That girl, Miley, she really is something. I see why you turned yourself in, she is a tough one and very beautiful" He says, a faint smile starts forming making me relax a little
"She is, she's the most beautiful stubborn girl I've ever met and I love her" I say, he looks at me
"Believe it or not, I've missed you son" He says
"I've missed you too Dad" I say, he stands up and hugs me. My body is tense at first but then I hug back and feel at ease.
"I'm so sorry for pushing you away instead of helping you in some way, helping both of you" He says, his body starts to shake and he grips me tighter

"I could've prevented Drew's death, I'm so sorry son" He cries, I hold my Dad, slightly in shock at him breaking down but I hold him.
"Drew was too far gone anyways Dad. You couldn't have been able to stop death" I say, he pulls away
"At least we still have you, and you are done with all that stuff right?" He asks wiping his face, I nod
"I'm done, I want to live peacefully with Miley so I am truly done" I half lie but he buys it just like the world and the judge have bought it.
"Good, I'm happy to hear that" He says

Miley's POV

Positive. All three sticks are positive.
"Oh my god! I'm going to be an auntie!" Dani is the first to speak and with a huge smile on her face as she looks at me
"I'm going to be a mom" I whisper letting it sink in
"Jason's going to be a dad" I say louder, I look at Dani and let my smile grow as wide as hers. We scream in excitement and hug
"Oh my god, oh my god" I say not being able to stop smiling
"You're pregnant!" Dani yells and we laugh hugging again

A/N: I don't know if I should say "happy thanksgiving !" Since it also happens to be a celebration of the genocide of Native Americans, so all I'm going to say is happy being thankful day!??
