Fifty-One

We are in the final stages of wedding planning, we have the location all set, invitations sent, it's been announced to the world, the flowers, cake, color theme is all set and done. Now we are looking for the perfect bridesmaid dresses and my dream wedding dress. Jason is off handling business back in Los Angeles while Luke came with me and Dani to Paris to look for my dress, we're here with my wedding planner and Kate as well.

I just put Luke down for a nap as Kate walks in with a huge smile
"I think we found it, with small differences but I feel like it's the one" She says, I smile wide
"When can we see it?" I ask
"Appointment is booked for tomorrow, we have some other dresses laid out as well in case you see something else you like more" She says, I nod
"Okay, great. The bridesmaids dresses?" I ask
"Still looking for the style you asked but in this same shop there are some beautiful ones you can look at as well" She says, I nod
"Good, I'm so excited" I say, she smiles and we hug
"You'll feel it in your gut when you see the dress that you're meant to wear for your special day" She says then Will calls her and she walks out to speak with her husband. I look out the window seeing the Eiffel Tower and the beautiful sky as the sun sets in the distance. My phone rings and I pull it out of my back pocket to see it's Jason

"Hey babe" I answer
"How you feeling baby?" He asks, I haven't been feeling my best the past two days and he's been worried, checking in frequently.
"I feel better to be honest, not light headed anymore and have more energy than I've had the past couple days" I say
"Thank god babe, hows Luke?" He asks
"Sleeping at the moment, I just put him down, he's been a good baby" I say looking over at my little guy smiling
"I'm done here, want me to fly out there or should we meet back in London?" He asks
"London, tomorrow I have an appointment to see some dresses and if I find mines I don't want you to see it, I want to surprise you" I say, he chuckles
"Alright, I'll see you in London then" He says
"Then we'll go meet up with Max to plan everything out" I say
"Oh shit I almost forgot about that" He says
"What would you do without me" I say shaking my head
"Probably be dead by now babe" He says, I shake my head
"Don't say that" I say
"What, it's true. I'd be dead if I didn't take you and fall in love" He says
"I love you Jason" I say
"I love you baby girl" He says, I smile then hang up and I look down at my ring as his words repeat in my head, 'if i didn't take you'.

I always forget he kidnapped me, he took me then we somehow, in some crazy weird way, fell in love. In deep love that we didn't let anyone or anything get in the way of us being together. How did this happen? I have no clue. It's some movie, fictional, type thing. Not in a million years would someone who was kidnapped believe they'd fall in love, marry, and have a family with the one who kidnapped them. My life is nothing but a weird movie now that I'm really thinking about this. I shake my head as a knock brings me out of my thoughts, I look up to see Dani poke her head in

"I brought pizza" She says, I smile and we sit on the bed opening the box
"What were you thinking about? You were standing there looking kind of in a daze" She says then bites her slice
"How my life is a literal fantasy" I say, she shrugs nodding
"True, you're a princess who got kidnapped and fell in love with the kidnapper and now engaged to him and you two have a child together. Literally a weird movie come to life, to your life" She says and we laugh
"It's so weird, I never would've thought that at almost 22 years old I'd be a mom to a child who's father kidnapped me a year and a half ago" I say
"A year and a half ago, damn. It's really been that long?" Dani asks, I count in my head
"Yeah, it happened at the ball for Kate and Will, I was 20. I'm almost 22, in a few months?" I say slightly questioning myself
"God damn" She says, we sit in silence munching on our pizza

"I've been talking to Ryan" She confesses, I smile
"I had a feeling. He'd ask about you in a quote on quote discreet way" I say, I look at her seeing she's blushing and smiling
"We've been talking nonstop for a little over a month now I think. He's amazingly sweet and funny. He's been trying to take me on a date but he's been busy you know with the business stuff" She says, I nod
"He'll find time, when he does, it'll be worth it love" I say, she nods
"I know, I just, want to spend time with him to really get to know him" She says, I nod
"I understand, that was me with Jason. Trust me though, once he was time he will treat you like a queen" I say, she smiles then her phone buzzes, we both see the name, her smile widens and I smile
"Go on, talk to him" I say, she answers the phone quickly running out onto the balcony for some privacy. I smile seeing my best friend smiling and happy. I stand up closing the pizza box and walking over to the crib seeing Luke sleeping with a small smile on his face and I wipe the drool off his cheek smiling at my baby. Then I go to the bathroom and decide to take a quick bubble bath since Luke is asleep and who knows how much longer he'll stay that way.
