Two

Dani and Bryan left as the sun was starting to set, I got them to be escorted safely and now I'm just sitting in the kitchen eating Oreos with milk. I smile and wave 'bye' to the kitchen staff that are headed home for the night as they walk by me bowing a little, then it's just me, my Oreos and a glass of milk.

That is until William walks in and when his eyes land on me, I can tell he wants us to be okay but he doesn't want to be supportive of my love life.
"William, one day, you will understand and accept that I love him" I say softly as I dip an Oreo in the milk
"Miley, why him?" He asks, he looks tired, restless, dark circles under his eyes, and his wrinkles are more noticeable

"Will, he makes me want to live. He helped me find my purpose" I say then eat the cookie, he looks deep in thought at my words so I stand and leave the kitchen with two Oreos and a little milk left. I make it to my room, I shut the door and sit on the couch then memories of having Jason in here rise making me smile at how much fun we had and how intimate we were. I place the glass of milk on the table along with the cookies then I turn my tv on and connect my phone to it.

I go to my music and click on the playlist that has all the songs Jason made. I play, As Long As You Love Me, and smile leaning back on the couch softly singing along with his beautiful voice, then I start crying silently. Fucking hell, why can't we just be together and happy? Why does this have to happen to us? Why can't I get my happily ever after already?

I snap out of my thoughts as my phone starts to ring, I look down and my heart jumps at the name on the screen Jas.

Jas: I love you princess
Me: I love you too, always.

Before I even lock my phone it rings, his name flashing on the screen. I answer turning the music down

"Jas" I say, my voice slightly cracking at the end
"I knew something was wrong" He whispers, I faintly smile
"I'm okay, just alone and memories making me miss you and everything" I say, he sighs
"I miss you too baby but hang in there. We will soon be together" He whispers, I bite my lip

"What if I fail? What if they don't listen? What if they don't believe?" I say, my voice falling into a whisper when I reach my last 'what-if'.
"Miley, don't think like that. Forget the 'what-if's because as long as you believe, that's enough for God to work his magic" He whispers, I smile at his words, he always knows what to say.

"Thank you, I love you" I say, wiping my cheeks
"I was offered to escape today," He whispers, my heart beat picks up, "but I declined his offer" He finishes making me confused
"Why did you decline?" I ask, curious of his decision
"Because of you, us" He whispers, my lips curve up, "I have to go now baby girl, but I'll try to talk to you soon. Stop stressing alright?" He says, I nod
"Okay, stay safe in there...please" I whisper the last word

"Always am babe. I love you" He says
"I love you too" I say
"Always" We both whisper at the same time making me smile, then the dial tone is all I hear. I stop the music and go onto Netflix feeling better than ever and I click on the movie 'Dope' then finish my two cookies and milk as my eyes are glued to the TV.

Jasons POV

I punch in the number I know by heart, then pull the phone to my ear as it rings. I look over my shoulder at Gonzalez to see he is leaning against the metal bars on the outside of the cell, tossing his ball up and catching it as he looks out for any guards.

The ringing stops and my attention is back to the phone
"Ryan" I say
"Jason? Bro, took you long enough" He says, I let out a small chuckle
"Fill me in, what's going on?" I ask, he sighs

"Well, since Tony is dead I decided it would be a good idea to take in some of his men, the ones that didn't pull through were killed which thankfully weren't many" He says, I nod
"Good good, those new guys believe you're the boss now right? We can't fully trust them yet so they have to believe you're in charge just in case they try to fuck us over after finding out I'm still running shit" I say

"Yeah, I figured that too so I told all our most trusted guys to make them believe I'm the boss as well" He says, I nod
"Good, what about the other gangs? They all know you're in charge now too?" I ask
"Yeah, news spread fast bro. I got calls behind calls behind calls asking if its true and two shootings happened already trying to take me out" He says laughing a little at the end making me shake my head chuckling as well

"Well, better teach those fuckers a lesson. Look, my cellmate is Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez" I say
"The Gonzalez?! What the fuck, what about him?" He asks
"Well, he is planning to escape soon and wants to do some business with us so you guys are going to be waiting for him and take him in for a while" I say

"Bro, you sure about this? Its fucking Gonzalez you know the stories about that guy, we could get in some real deep shit if we get involved with him" He says, I run my hand through my hair
"Ryan, don't you think I know that already? But trust me bro, this will be some good business, we could expand to Colombia bro" I say, he sighs

"That does sound good but don't you want to have an easy way out later? Like right now we could literally drop everything and leave it all behind for a semi normal life. If we do this, it will be harder for you and Miley to live happily and without a worry about getting killed" He says, when he says her name, it hits home.

He's right, fuck, I have to stop thinking all business, I have a girl in my life that I don't ever plan on lossing. I sigh loudly nodding
"You're right, fucking hell" I mumble
"Think shit through Jason, I'm down to help him escape and give him a place to crash for a while until he gets in contact with his people but business with him? That I'm not too sure about" He says, I nod

"Alright, the business shit will be talked about later but for now all you guys have to do is help him until he gets in touch with his people" I say
"Alright bro, I can do that" He says then a buzzer goes off throughout the hall
"Talk to you later bro" I say
"Stay safe" He says then I hang up hiding the phone in the hole I made in the wall

"So McCann" Gonzalez says
"My guys will be waiting for you and give you a place to crash while you get in touch with your guys" I say nodding, he nods
"What about business?" He asks
"I don't know about business yet, if I get involved with you, it will be harder to leave it all" I say, he nods
"Okay, think about it though kid" He says then leaves the cell headed towards the cafeteria as a guard yells its lunch time making me groan, food in here is disgusting, but I go anyways.
