Five

"Miles! Wake up! Miles!" I open my eyes gasping for air then see I'm in my room, Bryan next to me and Dani walking in with a glass of water in hand. I calm down as I repeat to myself that it was all a dream, just a nightmare.

"Babes, what happened?" Dani asks handing me the cup and sitting on my other side, I take a sip shaking my head
"I need to talk to the lawyer, I need to know if there is something more I can do" I say
"Wait. Miley, what were you dreaming about? You were screaming and crying" Bryan says, I sigh

"That Jason was given life and he was getting farther and farther from me. I couldn't catch up to him, I couldn't touch him" I say, Dani takes my hand
"Miley, don't worry love. You two will be together, you already got to people. Now all you need is to show everyone how good he really is" She says, I nod
"I know just how to do that" I say as an idea comes to mind but I need to talk to Jason about it first, I don't want to do this if he doesn't feel comfortable with it

"We'll talk more later, it's too early for this" Bryan says, I look at the clock 03:25AM
"Sorry I woke you guys up" I say, they shrug
"We are best friends, things like this come with the title" Dani says shrugging making me smile
"Alright, back to sleep then" I say, they both leave my room to theirs and I stand up then step out onto the small balcony, I sigh as a nice breeze hits me and I lean on the ledge.

I look up to see the stars still visible, slightly, not enough since the lights of the city pollutes the air so it makes it more difficult to notice the stars. I head back inside as I start feeling cold and lay back down to get some more sleep.

I woke up again at around ten, showered, got dressed in simple clothing and took both of my best friends to their jobs. I am now arriving to the place Ryan texted me to meet them all at, Joe pulls over and opens the door to me while some guards check the perimeter and tell him its all clear through their earpieces.

I walk in and immediately spot the people I couldn't wait to see at the far corner of the small restaurant. I walk over smiling wide seeing their familiar faces again
"Guys!" I say, they all look at me smiling and we form a group hug
"Miley, damn can't believe I've missed you so much!" Za says, I smile as we all sit
"I missed you guys too, and obviously Sammie" I say, she grins
"You look beautiful!" She says making me smile even more then we all sit

"How are you?" Fredo asks, I sigh
"Holding up, it's hard. This battle, I don't know what I'll do if Jason is kept there for life" I say, they give me sad looks
"Don't worry Miley, you keep doing what you're doing. You will get what you're asking for" Ryan says, I smile at him
"I need evidence that he isn't as bad as people make him out to be. I have thought of a way I can prove that but I'd need his approval before going through with it" I say then bite my lip
"What are you thinking of doing?" Khalil asks

"Getting his mom to speak, maybe Sammie? If thats okay with Tanner. I have been thinking of contacting Pops, remember him? From Ireland? The boys home?" I ask, they nod
"You know I don't mind you having Sammie speak the truth about Jason" Tanner says, I smile
"Thank you" I say

"Why Pops?" Za asks
"He met Jason, he seen how he wasn't a threat. How he was civilized and not threatening anyone there" I say
"You would need to speak to him about having Pattie up there" Ryan says, I nod
"I know" I say
"But either way, you will get him out of there Miley" Sammie says, I smile
"Thanks hun" I say and she smiles up at me then someone comes to take our order and leaves again to get our drinks

"How's business?" I ask after the waiter brings our drinks and leaves again, I sip on my water that has slices of lime in it
"It's good, I can't tell you much though. Just know, we have everything under control" Ryan says, I nod
"Your friends, the twins, Tyler and Dylan, contacted us not long ago wanting to work with us" Fredo says, I nod

"Yeah, Tyler asked me to do it for them but I told them it'd be better if they did it instead" I say, he nods
"We gave them the job, since they're friends with you and Jason said to give them a chance" Ryan says, I smile
"Thank you" I say
"We seen your, whats it called?" Za asks
"The speech?" I ask, he nods

"Yeah that! It was so good Miley, I was getting hyped up" He says making me giggle a little
"Thanks, so you all watched?" I ask, they nod
"We knew you'd do great" Khalil says, I smile
"Thanks for the love and support guys" I say
"You're family, that's what family is for" Ryan says, that warms my heart. These guys are my family, they know me better than my actual family and we've only known each other for almost a year now.
