Thirty-Five

It's been a few days since the deal was made and Jason had to "fake" his escape so the world knows he's out, so "The Ghost" knows he escaped. We are in New York right now with the rest of the guys, Jason told them about the whole deal and they are not sure how they feel about it but are down to help as long as they won't get arrested which obviously won't happen. My bump is bigger, more noticeable, the world is catching along to me being pregnant but I haven't said anything.

"Jason, who is this 'Ghost' guy?" I ask as he brings me some ice cream I've been craving, he sits down next to me sighing
"He is the biggest cocaine dealer, he deals all around the world and is wanted everywhere. He's called 'The Ghost' because he is one, nobody knows where is he, where he will be, or how he looks like. He always makes deals through someone or video chats with his screen dark so you can't see him. Just like a Ghost he leaves no traces of anything he's ever done, there have been murders where not a single trace was left so the Feds assume it was him. He's a feared man and it's hard to get in a room with him because he doesn't trust just anyone" He says, I eat my ice cream as he talks taking in everything he's saying

"So, how are you planning on turning him in?" I ask, he shrugs
"I have no clue babe, I just said I would to be with you" He says kissing the top of my head
"You'll find a way, you always do" I say
"Yeah well all that matters is that I'm here with you and will continue to be here to see our child grow" He says, I nod
"Have you spoken to your parents?" I ask
"No, I was thinking that maybe we can go up there for a while. I really want to see my brother and sister" He says, I smile up at him

"Of course babe, we can go up there tonight if you want" I say, he chuckles shaking his head
"In a few days maybe, for now, I just want to be alone with you. We haven't had the chance to just enjoy each other's company" He says, I smile and place a kiss on his cheek
"Alright, we'll keep each other company and then we'll go visit your family" I say and feed him a spoonful of ice cream before taking one myself.

Jason's POV

I open my eyes to see the movie credits are on the tv, I look down to my right to see a sleeping Miley cuddling into me. I look at the time on my phone seeing I've been asleep for a good while, I don't want to wake her so I slowly start to get out of her grasp. She doesn't move a muscle and I'm finally on my feet.

I sigh leaving the room headed to the kitchen, I don't know why I agreed to turn in this man that is a legit Ghost for my freedom. I have no fucking idea how I'll do it, but I need to make it happen so I can be with Miley and our child every step of the way.

I grab a water bottle as I unlock my phone and go to call Ryan, he answers on the third ring.
"What's up bro" He says
"I need to see you. I have no fucking clue how I'm going to do this shit bro, you need to help me" I say, he chuckles
"I had a feeling you went into this deal blindly, of course I'll help you Jason. You're my brother, how about I slide through tomorrow morning" He says, I nod
"Sounds good, bring the whole gang so they can distract Miley while we talk. I don't want her to know what's going to happen" I say
"Of course bro, see you tomorrow" He says
"Alright Ry" I say then hang up

"Jason!" Miley screams making me drop my open water bottle and bolt to the living room to see her with her hand on her bump and the other is covered in blood
"Miley, oh god, come here" I say, she is in tears and I pick her up
"I don't want to loose our baby Jason, please God please" She cries, I push back my own tears and we speed off to the nearest hospital

It's been a few hours that we've been here. The doctors kicked me out of the room to examine her. I've been receiving looks, people were starting to recognize me so I paid the security and doctors along with nurses to keep us hidden away.

I run my hand through my hair, we can't loose our unborn child. Please Lord, please don't take our unborn blessing away.

The door to her room opens, the doctor and nurses walk out making me stand up.
"How is she? How are they?" I ask
"Mr. McCann, they are both fine. You guys got here just in time, we managed to save the fetus. Ms. George lost some blood but she will be okay. I just recommend you have her take this slow, not too much time standing, and no stress. This was a close one" She says, I nod
"Okay, thank you so much" I say, she nods
"I want Ms. George to stay the night just so we can keep a close eye on her and the baby if that's okay" She says
"If it's what's best it's definitely okay, all I ask is to keep the people away from this room and hallway" I say, she smiles nodding

"Of course Mr. McCann, I am in complete support of the love between you and the Princess. I'll make sure this place is only accessible to whoever you permit it to" She says, I nod
"Can I see her now?" I ask, she nods
"Of course, she's going to be very tired but right now she's awake. Nurse Angie here will be checking in every hour and I'll check in tomorrow morning" She says, I shake her hand
"Thank you again" I say, she nods and they both walk off

I sigh and slowly open the door then close it behind me.
"Jason?" Miley asks, I go over and take a seat in the chair next to her bed
"Hi baby" I say taking her hands and placing a kiss on them
"We almost lost our baby" She whispers, her voice cracks and I shush her
"Don't think about that. This is just another one of God's tests baby, he wanted to see if we really wanted this and we do. That's why our child is still safe in there" I say placing my hand on her bump, she smiles
"I love you, you always know what to say" She says making me smile at her and I kiss her forehead

"I called Danielle, she and Bryan are on their way from London" I say, she smiles shaking her head
"Those two really hopped on a plane for me" She says, I nod
"They're loyal and real friends. I also called the guys, they were going to come but I told them to wait it out until tomorrow" I say, she smiles
"Our friends are the best" She says, I nod
"Get some sleep baby, you two need it" I say
"Okay, I love you" She says
"I love you too" I say as she closes her eyes and gets comfy.

I softly start singing the song I titled 'Be Alright' to her, which fits this situation perfectly. Everything will be alright for us, I'll make sure of it.

A/N: Well god damn ! What are your thoughts on what you just read? Very unexpected I'm sure.
