Thirty-Nine

I try to stay calm but my heart beat keeps escalating as I hear Ryan shouting that she needs to leave. I'm in shock and confused, she was arrested alongside her father, how is she here?

"Get out of my way!" I hear Alex yell, I haven't heard her voice until now, then the door opens revealing her and Ryan is behind her with his gun to her head while Chaz is on the phone, trying to get in touch with Jason I'm guessing.
"Alex?" I question, Dani doesn't leave my side as she crosses her arms glaring at the girl

"Miley" She says, then looks at my bump and I notice her get sad?
"Why are you here?" I ask as Ryan grabs her and has his gun to her side
"That was supposed to be my baby. Jasons' and my baby" She says, I can't help but pity the poor girl but I keep my guard up
"What do you want Alex? How are you here?" I ask, she looks at me and shrugs
"Lawyers were able to get me out since the Feds only want my father" She says
"Why are you here?" I ask
"I heard Jason wasn't in town, I was hoping you were alone" She says, she looks crazy.

Her eyes keep going to my bump and it's making me uncomfortable as fuck.
"You need help" I say, she shakes her head furiously
"No! You need help! You took my love, my one true love" She says, looking like she's about to cry
"Get her out of here" I say, Ryan nods
"No! No! I want that baby! That's my baby!" She screams and shouts as Ryan and Chaz pull her away

"Dani, I'm terrified" I say
"Don't worry she's gone, I heard Chaz speaking to Jason. He should be back soon" She says, I shake my head
"She'll be back, she sounds determined to get my baby" I say, she shushes me and hugs me laying down next to me
"We won't let her get to you, to either of you" She says

"How did she even get in? The elevator has a code that allows people to get on our floor" I say, she runs her hands through my hair
"I don't know but I'm sure the guys will fix that. I know Jason will make sure you two are safer than the damn president" She says making me laugh at how true that is, Jason will go to any lengths for us.

Jason's POV

I hang up pissed as fuck, how in the world is Alex not in jail? How the hell did she get onto our floor? I am going to kill that bitch once I find her, she better not touch a hair on my girls head.

"Everything okay McCann?" Vegás asks, we were all chilling, drinking and the guys all have ladies on their laps then Chaz calls and I'm sure it's evident that I'm ready to kill someone
"Problems back in New York, we have to get going" I say, the guys nod standing up leaving the girls disappointed
"Well, alright then. We'll stay in contact though, my guys all know you are going to be handling my stuff so all should be smooth sails" He says, I nod
"I'll get some of my men to your warehouses to check everything out, by the end of the week I'll start selling it all" I say, he nods and we shake hands again
"Safe travels" He says then we walk out, Tyler and Dylan are waiting with a new car

"To the airport, Miley needs us" I say, Tyler speeds off
"What happened bro?" Dylan asks
"That crazy bitch Alex was able to get onto our floor and was talking some mess to Miley, Chaz called me" I say
"I thought that psycho was arrested" Za says
"Thought so too bro" I say
"Well, if she pulls some shit we'll help you get rid of her ass" Khalil says
"I wont need help, I can handle her on my own" I say

I am tired as fuck but I manage to keep my eyes open and guard up as I make it onto our floor
"Baby" I call out dropping my backpack, she comes out from the room and I can't help but smile so big at the sight of her
"Jason" She says coming over into my arms, I hold her and kiss the top of her head
"How are you feeling babe, why aren't you in bed? The doctor said not a lot of walking for you" I say, she smiles and kisses my cheek
"It's okay babe, I was just grabbing some left over fruits. I was headed back to the room if you want to join me" She says, her smile is so innocent and her big beautiful eyes are looking up at me with so much emotion
"Of course I'll join you, come on" I say and without a warning I pick her up making her scream
"Warning next time!" She says making me laugh
"Next time will be with you in a white dress and in front of us would be the door to our home" I say, she gets pink as I hint at marriage.

I have a ring, shit I've had the thing for months now but with everything that's happened, I haven't found the right time to ask. I also want it to be special for her, I don't want to just ask and it not be in a memorable way. Miley deserves a proposal that will never ever fade away, especially a wedding that'll never fade. I'm just waiting for it to be the perfect time, waiting for all this mess to clear up then I'll get on one knee. For the mean time, that ring will stay safe and sound.

I didn't expect this chapter to go towards the topic of marriage but it did lol
