So I'm having a bit of trouble with this story right now.
I'm not saying that I'm going to drop it, it's just that it's taking a turn in a direction that I can't really fix. I've actually kind of written myself in a hole in the previous chapter that I posted (and an upcoming chapter that I'm currently writing) so it's hard to write around it and I'm afraid that the story will end with a shitty ending if I drag it out too long.
To fix this problem, I've decided to try and write around my hole and end the story a little shorter than I thought I would.
Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 is coming soon, so I might rekindle my inspiration while watching it so don't consider the story dead after it ends! (Which is not anytime soon so don't worry)
If I get super inspired by Season 3, I'll probably just make a second book but keep the characters and the storyline intact so be on the lookout for that in 2018!
On an unrelated note...
I just finished up watching Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. Yes I know, shun me for not watching it before, I was going to but I ended up getting really busy and ya know. Well... I decided to write a Haru x OC ( or reader, just switch out the OC's name and stuff with y/n ) BUT I probably won't publish it because I'm a little self-conscious of it. AND YES, I know that Haru is meant to be with Rin or Souske or Makoto or WHATEVER, it's just that it's kind of hard for me to write a story with such great original characters. ( I prefer my shitty made up ones :P ) [ I ship Haru x Makoto but that's just me... ] So yeah. I am also writing a completely original story as well, and it's pretty fun to write.
I have devised an entire system about this dilemma:
- After I finish up this story, I will watch AOT Season 3 and see what it gives me inspiration wise.
- I either take or leave Season 3 and may or may not write a sequel to this book.
- IF this story ever gets to 300 views (probably not :P) I will release my Haru x OC
- IF this story ever gets to 500 views (probably not as well :P) I will release my original story (probably on a separate account though, I plan on writing more original stories)
- AND IF this story ever gets to 700 views (IMPOSSIBLE) then I will take requests on what kind of story I should write next. I will pick one at random and whatever it is, that's what I am writing.
So yeah.
