I stand up leaving Katniss on the ground and I open the door.
Haymitch.
He looks sober, for once. But her face reeks no sleep. Along with his eyes.
"How is she"? Haymitch whispers.
I move my body revealing her on the ground still caressing the cat.
"Katniss"Haymitch starts.
She turns to him his expression startles her.
"Can I talk to you...outside" He says he meets my stare.
Why can't he just tell her in front of me?
Katniss stands and walks with Haymitch outside then closes the door.
What now?....
They atleast spend 10 minutes outside circling the house talking about whatever they are talking about.
Don't get jealous Peeta, there is nothing to be jealous about.
