Mission

It's been a week since our second meet and guess what I think we'll meet for the rest of our lives.

"Hi, Lewis!" ngiti-ngiting sabi ko sa paparating na si Lewis.

Kahit nakakabadtrip yung mga pagkakakita namin. I'm still happy na makita sya ulit. And I don't know what the reason is, after all. We'll maybe this time I can finally tame him. Remember there will always be first try, second try and of course the undying third try.

Gaya ng nakasanayan ay kumunot lang ang noo nya. He's grumpy but I kinda like it...Hmmm

"Are you stalking me? "Binigyan nya ako na para bang nandidiring tingin. Nakaramdam ako ng kirot sa dibdib ko pero hindi ko ipinahalata.

"No, I'm not. Actually kakalipat ko lang ng condo last month so ibig sabihin taga rito na ako." And then I point out my unit's door using the key card and key.

Kunwari ay para syang nagulat na natatawa bago nagsalita. "So, we're neighbor? That's great! Just great!" frustrated lang syang umiling.

Card at susi ang pinangbukas nya sa unit nya bago tuluyang pumasok at iniwan ako. He live next to me.

We're neighbors? And I don't even see him here for the past month, why the heck?

But damn! What the hell is his problem with me? It's not as if I planned this out, goddamnit!I'm sure. Cross my heart hope to die I didn't plan this out.

On the second thought, it will be really great. I'll be completely a hypocrite if I'll deny that I like it, I like the thought of him next to me but it could be better if we'll be living together.

Knowing that he is my neighbor and soon to be my internship employer? It will be really great. It seems like I will be with him, 24/7. And I won't gonna waist this opportunity, this opportunity of taming the beast.

The next day, maaga akong nagising na sobrang hindi ako. Hindi kasi ako morning person kaya madalas hindi rin ako nag bi-breakfast. I'll cook breakfast for him.

Hindi maalis ang ngiti ko habang sumasayaw at nagluluto ng omelet at bacon.

"Cause I got a blank space baby...and I write your name..."

Nag fierce pose pa ako habang sinasabi ang huling line ng paborito kong kanta. I may not be a very good cook at least I'm a great dancer and singer.
Tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa ginagawa ko na masayang pagluluto.

"Starting my toes, make me crinkle my nose...Where ever it goes I always know"

I quickly grab my phone on the table and click the accept button.

"Hello,dad?"

"Leviathan, hija. Let's meet, Saturday next week. We'll talk about your internship. L'Aubergine. I'll just text you the room number."

Napangiti na lang ako sa sinabi ni Dad sa kabilang linya. I really love my Dad.

"That's great, dad. Thank you. Love you, dad mwuah!" natawa na lang si Dad bago nagpaalam at ibinababa ang tawag.

Masaya akong ipinagpatuloy ang pagluluto ko. Dad's call just made my day. What a nice day, lucky Leviathan.

Hindi maalis-alis ang ngiti ko hanggang sa maluto na ang niluluto ko.

"Well done, Leviathan!" Sabi ko sa sarili ko na ngiting-ngiti pa din.

Simpleng inilagay ko lang iyon sa lalagyan at paper bag.I'll give this to Lewis para patunayan ang sarili ko sa kanya.
