The bell rang and the whole group started parting ways. Elsa embraced me in a hug. I smiled into her hair and squeezed her back. She kept the hug for a long time, which I didn't mind. We pulled away from each other and I headed toward my class. As I was walking though, I couldn't help but feel a little unsteady. Something was telling me that something's not right. I just shrugged off the feeling and sat down in my class, zoning out as the teacher started talking.

It came around lunch time and Elsa never showed up. None of us worried too much and just thought she got held back in class or went to the library. She sometimes would do that so we just let it slide.

When Elsa didn't show up after school however did I start feeling like something was wrong. She would have texted me if she was held in class. After waiting for about an hour for her to show up, Anna was freaking out. Kristof was holding her in a tight embrace trying to calm her down as everyone else was huddled in a circle, everyone with worried expressions.

"I have no idea where she could be. Her dad's locked up, Melissa was at school, and someone saw Elsa walk to first period right?" Flynn said. He was just as stumped as everyone else.

I then thought of something.

"I didn't see Elsa walk to her first period. She hugged me and then I walked off. I knew something was off. I should have walked her to class today. Out of all the days I chose to make it to class on time, why did I choose today?" I said sitting on top of my car. I put my head in my hands and took a deep breath. Someone put a hand on my back and rubbed in circles a couple time.

I looked up to see Merida with a warm, but worried smile directed towards me. I gave a small smile back.

"How about we go back to my house? We can see if she's there. If not then we can see if my mom or anyone saw Elsa." I said walking over to the drivers side of my car. Before I gave anyone a chance to answer I hopped in and closed my door, starting the car. Everyone else hopped into their cars and drove behind me as we made our way back to my house.

I couldn't help but tear up as I drove down the street. I had no clue where Elsa was or if she was okay or not. I wish she would call or something. I just need to hear her voice. I need to know if she's alright.

We finally made it to my house and I barely put the car in park before dashing inside the house. I checked every room, bathroom, and even outside. Elsa wasn't here.

"How 'bout we text her. See if she'll answer us? I don't know why we haven't tried that yet." Merida said with an exasperated tone. We all nodded and took out our phones.

As I was texting Elsa, Anna came back into the room a crying mess. I didn't see her leave, but she threw me a piece of paper before running over to Kristof and crying into his chest.

I stopped texting and slowly picked up the piece of paper. I looked at it to see Elsa's beautiful cursive writing. I already knew what the paper was before reading it.

"Read it aloud." Hiccup said quietly. I nodded and looked back at the paper.

Whoever is reading this is probably wondering where I am. Well, I'm by myself, about to end everything. I didn't want anything to end up like this. But I just couldn't handle life anymore. I am constantly scared of myself. My thoughts have taking over my heart. They lead me to dark places I don't want to re-live. I can't handle the constant feeling of being hated, or the constant beatings and verbal abuse that I get. I've faked my way all the way till now. No one noticed the pain behind my eyes every time I looked at them. No one noticed just how broken and dead inside I felt. Ever since my das started abusing me, I've hid every little detail about my feelings or personality behind a smile, a smile that wasn't even real. I'm sorry to say this, but by tonight, I won't be here anymore. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone who actually cares. Oh wait, no one does.
