Chapter 10
Pain makes you stronger,
Fear makes you braver,
Heartbreak makes you wiser.
Both my 'parents' came down.
"Well lookie here sleeping beauty has finally woken up," she said with hate in her eyes. It was weird seeing her hate me so much. I always thought that she could never hurt a fly but now I wasn't so sure.
"What should we do with her?" my 'dad' said.
Both my parents looked thoughtful for a second before my dad got smirk on his face. He mumbled some words and suddenly I was on the floor screaming in pain.
"Ahhhhhh, stop it!" I cried out. It felt like my body was being ripped apart one by one.
"Stop it Iohan," the guy opposite me said firmly to my dad.
"Look here Else, brother looking out for her sister," my 'dad' said.
Two words stood out for me.
Brother and sister
The guy opposite me was my brother, but that's not possible. I had no family or did I?
"What do mean sister?" I ask.
"Shut up Arielle. I can't stand to hear your annoying voice anymore," my 'mom' rudely says to me. Her eyes glaring at me with hatred.
"Stop it!" my brother says shaking.
"You know what I want Zavion. If you give it to me I will not harm your sister," my 'dad' says walking over to me.
All this while my 'mom' was bringing things out from a cupboard near the doorway.
How come I didn't see that when I came in.
"You know all you have to do to is tell us Zavion," my 'dad' says slapping me lightly on the cheek.
"Never," my brother says with determination.
"Ok, we'll then just remember that everything I do now is all your fault," my 'mom' says.
What did he mean by 'that everything we do now is all your fault?
Suddenly I felt a whip striking me on my face. I guess this is what she meant.
I turn my head to just see the while striking again,
Then again,
Then again.
There is blood pouring from my face and I knew for sure this was going to be a scare that would never, ever go.
Tears were pouring down my face.
Just when I think I can't take anymore I feel a excruciating pain from my heart and spreading throughout my body.
The pain triples causing me to cough up blood. I am coughing so much I couldn't breathe, making me weaker than ever before. I feel like my lungs are on fire. I try to breathe in from my mouth but I can't because I am still coughing up blood
The excruciating pain has reached my head giving me an awful headache. I try to think of something else, anything, but I come up with nothing.
Suddenly I feel nothing.
I feel my body closing down one, by, one,
Then
Off.
