Chapter 10

I think it's kind of obvious I like Chris but I don't care. He's adorable and sweet as can be. "Mornings." I mumbled to myself as I got out of bed and stretched. I yawned as I went into my bathroom and took a shower real quick before getting ready. I let my hair air dry and brushed my natural waves before I did my makeup. I went to my bags I hadn't unpacked yet and picked out my outfit before getting dressed and going downstairs. My dad was in the kitchen drinking coffee and eating toast as I walked in and I smiled. "Morning, dad!" I said and he looked up in surprise and shock. "Good morning, Hayden. I'm glad to see you're in a good mood again!" He said with a smile and I grinned. "Me too." I said as I fixed myself a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice and sat next to him at the table. "What do you say about us going and getting the stuff to redo your room today?" He asked and I looked up. "Yes!" I said and he chuckled. "Well finish eating and get your shoes on and we can go." He said and I smiled. I finished eating about 10 minutes later and put my dishes in the sink before I went to my room and pulled my boots on and grabbed my wallet and phone. I put them in my pockets and grabbed my jacket before I went to the living room where my dad was waiting with his keys in hand.

*Skipping car trip because ew lol*

My dad and I walked into the furniture and decor store and we each grabbed a buggy just in case. I ended up getting a new bed with mattresses, a dresser, a vanity, a jewelry box, an entertainment center, some beanbag chairs, a desk and desk chair, a rug, and curtains and blinds. After we paid and left there, we went to Lowes and got new wood flooring for my room, paint for the walls, and a bunch of brushes and floor glue. We also got planks of wood to build me shelves and some paint masks and spray paint, as well as sand paper and a cloth tarp to cover the floor with. We made sure to get all the tools we would need and paid for everything before we left and piled it into the back seat. After Lowes, we picked up Chinese food and went home. For the rest of the day, dad and I unloaded all of my stuff from the truck and put it in the living room. First, we moved the old stuff from my room and put the cloth tarp on the floor, then painted the walls. We opened the window and let them dry over night before we cut and ripped up the carpet and put the wood floor down the next day. It was a lot of work but we got it all done. By the time we got to putting my furniture in my room, we were as tired as could be. It took the next couple of days to get my room set up but once everything was set in it's place around the room, it looked amazing. That next day, we went to Walmart and got me some new pillows, a tv, a surround sound system, Xbox 360, XboxOne, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii, and a bunch of extra controllers for each system. After that, we got me a DVD player, stereo, and some packs of paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, envelopes, paper clips, clamps, a stapler, tape, glue, scissors, and anything else I needed for my desk. Once we had everything, we paid and put it all the truck before we went back in and got groceries we needed and went home. Dad set up all of my gaming systems and connected them to the wifi before he set up my surround sound and my tv. While he did all of that, I put the groceries up, then put all of my stuff neatly in the drawers of my desk. We straightened up my furniture a bit to make it look better before we decided to call Ryan to help us put up the shelves. He got there within half an hour and the 2 of them built my shelves while I went to the kitchen to cook. I decided on making a big dinner and texted the rest of the guys and invited them. I spent the next couple of hours cooking as the guys gradually appeared one by one. When dinner was ready, I went into the living room where everyone was watching Godzilla. "Dinner's ready!" I said and within seconds everyone was running to the kitchen except Chris. "God, they must be hungry." I said and he chuckled. "We are always hungry." He announced and I smiled as we walked into the kitchen. Everyone had already sat at the table and left 2 seats open for me and Chris. We sat down with the guys and we all fixed our plates and ate. During dinner, we all just joked around and talked to fill the silence. It was a pretty good dinner. I wasn't used to this before but I think I like it. These guys felt like family to me. I never felt like I had one until now. I smiled to myself as I watched the guys all laughing as Ricky told a ridiculous story about what happened to him the previous day. 'I'm glad I'm here.' I thought to myself as I continued eating. I felt someone's eyes on me and looked over to see Chris smiling down at me. 'I never noticed how beautiful and warm his eyes are.' I thought as I looked away.

Ok I know it's sucky but bear with me there is a lot of crazy stuff going on in my life! Ahhh! I'll probably delete these past couple chapters after things die down and rewrite them so they're better but right now please just deal with ittttt! Love you!
