Back in Cullionbeg

Lindsey: You guys don’t know how much this means to me!

Marco: It’s not a problem at all. We are happy to have you staying with us!

Man: Yes we are. I’m Danny. (he kissed my hand) Pleased to finally meet you.

Lindsey: Oh, well the pleasure is all mine, I suppose.

Danny: It is wonderful to have you here, Lindsey. I'm the worship leader. How about you let me introduce you to everybody?

Lindsey: Oh yes, that would be wonderful!

Danny looked like he was a tad older than me, maybe 23 or 24. He was attractive though. He was around 6’1 and had dark brown hair that matched his dark brown eyes. He ended up looping me in and out of the crowd introducing me to the head pastor, youth pastor and all of the other church members. I did end up meeting Mr. and Mrs. Horan, which was surprisingly not that awkward for me. I mean, I know they wouldn’t make it awkward, but I thought I would feel awkward considering I used to kiss pictures of their son. They were really sweet, though. They even gave me their numbers in case I needed anything. The last person Danny brought me to was a darling girl about my age named Larinda.

Lindsey: Hi! I’m Lindsey. It's nice to meet you.

Larinda: I know why you’re here. Be careful. He’s mine—

Danny: Okay Larinda, it was great talking to you as always. See you around!

Danny grabbed me by the forearm and led me out of the crowd. I don’t know why or how, but Larinda kind of freaked me out. I mean, sure she was my height, but she looked so fragile, so beautiful with golden curls framing her flawless face. How in the world could she have said something like that to me? I didn’t even know her. I guess she gave off that innocent, but I’d stab you with a pair of scissors vibe.

Lindsey: Danny?

Danny: We can talk about this later. How about we go to my favorite coffee house?

Lindsey: Okay! (we started walking away from everyone)

Marco: Off so soon?

Lindsey: Oh. I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to—

Danny: Not to worry. Lindsey, be a dear and start off that way (he pointed in the direction of a road) I’ll catch up. (he winked at me)

Lindsey: Okay? (I went over and hugged Marco) Thank you so much. You’re wonderful! I can’t wait to see you Sunday!

I left and made my way down the road.

Marco: In a rush, I see?

Danny: We had an, um, interesting conversation with Larinda. I figured I best warn Lindsey.

Marco: Good plan. Did he text you about her as well?

Danny: Yep. If you can just get all of her stuff to my place by tonight we’ll be set.

Marco: Sounds good. Well, you better go catch up to her. She has never been here before, remember?

Danny: Oh, right. See you later! (he ran off)

I kept walking even though Danny never caught up. I continued walking straight until I saw a coffee shop. This must be the place, right? I sat down at a table outside and waited for Danny. He came running up a few minutes later.

Danny: Hey! Sorry to keep you waiting, Lindsey.

Lindsey: You’re totally fine. It was nice seeing the town. Quite quaint if you ask me.
