Chapter 13

Biglang tumahimik ang paligid. She swears she can hear both of their heartbeats. Parang slow motion na nahulog ang bacon as well as the fork na hinahawakan nito sa kama and both of them did not even spare a glance. The silence and the awkward situation were so intense she wished she did not open her mouth.

He gave her an icy gaze that made her want to melt. “Kiss you?” Tanong nito sa kanya na para bang nababaliw na siya.

Siya rin gusto niya na ring tanungin ang sarili if she’s gone mad. Alam niya that her demand sounded bitchy pero she wants to prove something. Gusto niyang patunayan na ang nararamdaman niya mula kagabi para dito ay guni-guni niya lang. Na mali ang pagkakaintindi niya sa nararamdaman niya.

Pero when she looks at him now, parang hindi yata talaga guni-guni ang nararamdaman niya. She always find him cute pag nakasimangot(ngayon niya lang aaminin) pero now, he’s more than cute. Kasi just by looking at him ngayon, naririnig niya ang pagwawala ng tibok ng puso niya. Na para bang konti na lang, sasabog na iyon. Parang biglang sumikip ang damit niya at hindi siya makahinga sa kaba.

What happened last night that made her start to feel like a stupid teenager with a crush? She is a teenager but she is not stupid! She’s a player and a very good one when it comes to this field. Her best smile for other men, para dito, mukha siyang nakadrugs?! How dare him! She’s outraged! All the thoughts about the said butterflies flew from her mind and now long forgotten. Galit ang nararamdaman niya and… yes… she’s insulted! By him! By Deiderick! Napahiya siya!

First, he tried to kiss her habang akala nito wala siyang malay and she would have let him, second, he teased her again ng meron na siyang malay and she was again tempted to let him pero he withdrew making her feel sorry for herself and third, he thought her flirting smile was like a smile of someone na high sa drugs. That’s it! She’ll make him suffer!
