**Damens pov**

"Oh brother you better have a good reason for breaking that up"
I turned around quickly to come face to face with an angry Stehpen.
I let out a small laugh and attempted to mimick his face.

"Damen what the hell are you doing?"
I smirked at my brother, he really should have refrased his words.

"Well if you had waited a few more minutes, Saige"
His rough hands pushed me back and anger was clear on his face.

"What do you think you're doing? You're bad for her Damen."

My smirk dropped as I walked closer to my brother, I was sick of him trying to ruin things between Saige and I. Best friend or not,
Brother or not,
He was going to stop this.

"That's you're opinion Stephen! Because right now, I think I'm excatly what she needs."

Stephen ran his fingers through his brown hair with a sigh,
"And then that's your opinion Damen!
Saige and Tyler just broke up, Klaus is after her. This isn't a good time for you to decide you have feelings for her again. Its only going to cause issues."

I noticed his tone change slightly and a smirk joined my face.
"You have feelings for her, don't you Stephen?"
His eyes widened and he shook his head.
"Saige is my best friend Damen, I'm just looking out for her."

"Bullshit. Its all starting to make sense now. Especially the night she left for Tyler's. You knew she was standing there that night, didn't you? You wanted me to hurt her."
Stephen looked down at the ground, ashamed with his actions but I just grinned.
Who said we weren't alike?

"I have to say I'm impressed. Didn't think you would have it in you."
He slowly looked up at me and I sighed.
"Too bad I'm winning though."
He smirked slightly and walked over to me,
"You would think, but Damen. You're a ticking time bomb. Just a matter of time before you say or do something to hurt Saige again."

I grabbed the collar of his shirt and flung him across the room.
Anger filled my body as I vamped over to him,
This was ending now.
I grabbed his shirt and raised my fist when a gentle voice filled my ears

"Damen? Stephen?"
Both my brother And I turn to she saige standing on the last stair.
She had a sad look in her eyes as she walked over to us.
Her soft hands reached for my arms and pulled me off Stephen.
Guilt clouded my vision as I watched her help Stephen to his feet.

"I don't want to know what started this...I just want it to stop."
Her eyes locked with mine as she sat down in the kitchen.
"No more fighting please..."

My brother turned to me and I sighed,
I knew what this was leading too....if we didn't stop...she would leave again.
I nodded and walked over to my brother.
He was leaning against the wall with a pained look in his face.
I inched closer to my brothers ear so Saige wouldn't hear.

"I'm going to drop all this because of her Steph. I suggest you do too."
He just nodded as I walked over to Saige.
Her small hands joined mine and she looked up at me.
"I promise, no more fighting."
Saige smile down at our hands,
"Good..we don't have time to fight eachother Damen...we have to worry about fighting Klaus."
I nodded at her and rubbed the back of her thumb with my finger and she sighed.

"What even is this Damen?"
I raised and eyebrow at her and she raised our joined hands.
"What are we Damen.."

I removed our hands and walked closer to her, pulling her into a hug.
My hands stroked her black hair as her head rested on my shoulder.
"I don't know Saige..but whatever this is. I don't want it to stop.."
I felt her nod and she let out a sigh of relief,
"Me neither."

Sorry for the short chapter guys, and the lack of updates. I've been busy working on other stories but I'll be updating a lot more. (Hopefully)
But at the moment I'm also working on two other books, and balancing Pre-ap homework with it all so pleaze be patient
Okay so I have book two like planed out already and I've decided how this books going to end. And it'll probably be around 30 something chapters when it does.
Also just wanted it to be made aware that its not set in stone that Saige will get with Damen in the end. So leave me comments throughout these next few chapters saying who you believe she should be with. Love you guys so much!!
