"Live for today, plan for tomorrow and party tonight."

"Eve, he broke up with me!"Cassie flew into my arms in the middle of the school hallway while I cuddled her, feeling extremely guilty (but would never tell her why)
In all honesty, Andrew breaking up with her relieved me
It made me hopeful, ecstatic
I couldn't wait for things to pick up between us
Things were already hot, why not make it hotter?
"I'm so sorry girl! You can find someone better. In fact, how about we go out this weekend? You can meet some other guys like him."
I was kidding myself; there were no other guys like him
He was his own beautiful person
"I don't know if I'm ready. Maybe..."
"You don't get a choice in the matter, it's up to us. Right girls?"
I turned to Stacey and Sarah, who nodded and patted her on the back
"Maybe we can do a repeat of last weekend. Remember how fun that was?"
Cassie stared at us with glistening eyes
"Okay, fine. I've always wanted to try ecstasy..."
After she said that, I understood what Andrew meant when he explained how eager she was to try everything
This girl would be the death of us

Crowded, dark room
Lights flashing
Music pumping
Dancing, grinding
Arms flailing
Laughter, smiles, drugs
Smoke everywhere
Hair flying
Hell, I'm flying
I was here physically, but my mind wasn't
Another line
Another rush
Another hit
Another new level of high
Giggling, laughing, dancing, playing
Life was great
We grinded along to the beat until our bodies were numb
He smiled at me from across the room
I followed him to the bathroom
Watched him shoot up something in his vein
Kissed him until I was dizzy
Took a shot of whiskey
Pressed my body against his, drove him wild
Did another line
Went back to my friends
There was Cassie, flirting with some cute guy
"You go girl!" I mouthed to her
So many lights, they were beautiful
I watched Shelby as she grabbed an LED hula hoop
She twirled and danced with it like it was nothing
The sight was breath taking, the way the hoop spun around carelessly
The whole time she smiled, using her hands and body to guide to hoop to its destination
I was mesmerized
Then I was sober.
And that was my Friday night
Saturday night on the other hand, was a different story
