I smacked my alarm clock. Stupid thing. It turned off. I got up and walked to my bathroom. Raising the hairbrush to my hair, I thought about last night. I had told Justin I loved him......
I felt the knots being untangled as I glided my hairbrush through my hair. I slumped downstairs.
"Hi, mom." I muttered sleepily.
"Good morning, sleepy head!! It's Friday!" she said. Wow....why is she so peppy this morning? Oh, I forgot to mention my mom is a werewolf but my dad is a human so I'm human because I have more genetics from my dad.
Suddenly, I remembered something. I still hadn't told her I had found my mate. Did Justin tell his parents? Will he be mad if I told him I haven't told mine? It was rare for a werewolf to mate a humn, but since I have wolf blood it's possible.
"Mom....." I hesitated. What would be her reaction? I decided to get it over with. "I - I found my mate."
She gasped and dropped her spoon. She chuckled and picked it up. "Really? Oh. hunny! I''m so happy for you!!! You will be able to shift into a wolf when you complete the bond!" She hugged me tightly.
Wait, what?

"Mom, I can shift?" I asked. She nodded. My Eggo popped out of my toaster. I grabbed it and started to pour my maple syrup onto it, deep in thought.
