Okay I'm hoping that this suits you well. But Laxus is tall as well so he could match your height. You two would hold a deep bond and even if you don't talk to each other at some points, then you would always know what the other is thinking. Laxus could hold a deep love for sports and he could get competitive so days with you two could just be spent playing sports.
