Chapter 22

Chapter 22: Sam on a rampage
Cassie's Pov
Both Seth and I woke up to howls and we ran to the forest phasing. I just hoped Seth didn't think about what we did last night. There are two leeches on our land we have to get them before they get people on the reservation. Sam explained and all of us split up. I started running toward the smell of a leech when suddenly images from last nights started flashing through my mind. I growled mentally noting I was going to kill Seth as I told him to shut up. YOU HAD SEX WITH MY LITTLE SISTER. Sam yelled in his mind and I groaned. We were going to be murdered by him as soon as we were done here. I found one of the leeches and started chasing it running faster than usual and ripped it to pieces as soon as I had it on the floor. I was dreading the time to come once someone had the other leech. I got the last one. I heard Paul think which got me frustrated. Of course it had to be Paul out of all people. Don't hate Cassie. He taunted me. At least someone gets laid in this pack. He thought and I mentally scolded him as he probably didn't mean for us to hear. Once we were all together in our wolf forms Sam launched at Seth but I got in the way being thrown into a tree. I whimpered as I tried to get up but couldn't because my paw was twisted in a weird position. I trotted over the best I could to the group as I saw Sam basically tearing Seth to shreds as this was more like a beating on Seth than a fight. I launched myself on top of Sam and sunk my teeth into his front leg and he shook me off and charged at me making me growl and before I could charge at him I felt his teeth sink into my neck and I let out a pained howl as I felt a searing pain from where he bit me making Sam back off as soon as he heard it. I fell limply to the floor and felt my body change back to my human form forcefully. I felt blood running down my neck and I reached my hand up to the wound and let out a cry which sounded like a weird breathe because I was having trouble breathing. Soon everyone was surrounding me in their human forms. "Cassie" I heard Seth say and felt him grabbed my cheek. "Hi Seth" I said smiling weakly at him. I put my hand over the bite and felt Seth put his hand over mine. I felt the cut healing under my hand making me feel really confused and tired. I felt my eyes start to flutter and I tried to keep them open. "Seth I'm tired" I explained as I felt myself being picked up. "It's okay Cassie we're gonna take you to Carlisle he'll help you." I heard someone say. Before I could explain that I was fine I fell asleep.

I shot right up where I was laying down and came in contact with another head. I groaned rubbing my head and shoved Seth. "Give me some space" I complained falling back on the bed I was sleeping on. I guess Seth took it as "Seth please come in the bed with me and suffocate me" because he crawled in the bed and wrapped his arms around me squeezing me tightly to him. "Seth seriously please give me some space" I said shoving him with what I thought was just a shove but he ended up across the room. I got up quickly running to him. "Seth are you okay? I'm so sorry I thought I was just going to shove you a little" I said panicked. Everyone was in the room moments later and I was tackled to the floor by the pack. "Okay seriously if you guys don't give me some space I'll make all of your lives miserable" I whined trying to squeeze my way out of the pile of people on the floor. Once I was out and up I just stood their awkwardly. "So... what happened?" I asked confused looking at Carlisle. "You got hurt but you healed yourself which means on your vampire side you have a gift." Carlisle explained but continued. "From the looks of it you might have telekinesis. If you have two gifts chances are you have more" he finished and I nodded sitting at the edge of the bed. "So what have I missed over here?" I asked the Cullen's as the pack left to let me rest. "Edward and Bella are getting married and your helping me set everything up so is everyone else but I'll need your help the most since you understand what I want all the time." Alice said the excitement evident in her voice. I'll see you soon la tua cantante. I heard Alec making me groan. These next few weeks will be interesting
