Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Bella knows
Cassie's Pov
It's been two weeks or so since I hung out with the guys down at La push and I really want to hang out with them again. Bella figured out that the Cullen's are vampires and is dating Edward. Today Edward was going to take us to watch them play baseball and Emmett was saying that it was always fun. I was already over with the Cullen's and I'm glad because Bella was gonna introduce Edward to dad. No doubt that would be very embarrassing for Bella. Everyone was basically showing off and Emmett was trying to do this stupid trick and almost hit me in the process but luckily Rosalie caught it before it hit me which made me squeal because it was an inch away from my face. "EMMETT" I screeched flinching away from the bat. Edward's car pulled up and the game started. Rosalie got mad at Bella because she said she was out and I stifled a laugh while Emmett just got all excited. "STOP" Alice called out. They all ran together in a group and Rosalie went behind me and put my hair down as Edward told Bella to put hers down. This one vampire James I think his name was, was staring at Bella and I. Bella's hair blew in the wind and suddenly she fell from who knows what and on me making both of us fall. "What the fuck Bella" I spat in her getting up and saw a little scape on my arm. "You brought snacks" James said looking at both me and Bella but mostly me. He looked like he was about to lunge at me but the other guy with them held him back. "The girls are with us" Carlisle said and they left. Edward started explaining what James was and then we went their house. I was kind of zoning in and out and that voice in my head was just telling me all these things and I was just getting confused because I couldn't even really understand what it was saying and what was going on and before I knew it everything was black. Once I came to I was being shaken by Bella. "What do you need" I grumbled since I was still pissed at her because of what she was talking about me. "We are going somewhere come on get up" she said and I grumbled getting up getting ready to go where ever the hell she wanted us to go. We pulled up to a ballet studio and Bella was basically dragging me in to it and then I heard my mothers voice calling out for Bella. "MOM" Bella screamed and ran to where she heard the voice. This doesn't seem right. Why did Bella even bring me here? I heard laughing and I was suddenly grabbed. Bella turned around from where she was after seeing a video of I guess back from when she was little and looked pissed. "You have her now where's my mother" Bella said glaring at James. THAT LITTE BITCH!! She was going to give me to this asshole for her mom. Yes I said her mom. Both of them never liked me so I didn't consider them a big part of my family. "Bella what's your problem" I said struggling in James' grip. She shook her head and looked at the floor. "Mom is more important than you" she said. I felt a tear slide down my face. Yes I knew they didn't like me but just hearing it made it feel 100% more real. I felt something cut my neck and I cried out in pain. I suddenly felt James sucking on my neck. Why couldn't he just bite me? Gosh that hurt. "What do you say we have a little fun with your sister" he whispered in my ear and I flipped him over. How the hell did I do that? "Don't touch her" I growled looking down at him. I may be mad at her and won't care if she was dead but not while I watch. James just laughed and quickly got up going after Bella. I ran as quick as I could and I was surprised I got there before he did and he pushed me out of the way and grabbed my sister. I landed on the floor with a big thud and hurt my leg. I whimpered as I tried to get up and saw James about to bite Bella. "James don't you want me more? I saw your face at the clearing. Doesn't my blood smell better than hers. You crave mine more don't you? You'd love to feel the warm sweet liquid going down your throat wouldn't yo-" I was cut off with his hands around my neck and me up against the wall. "If you didn't smell so good your sister would probably be dead" he glared at me and choked me harder. I could barely breathe but I didn't care as long as Bella didn't die on my watch. James shoved his face in my neck and he started sniffing around. What the hell was he doing? He's looking for the vein. Don't worry my darling you will be mine soon. I heard the voice say and soon after teeth sunk into my neck and I felt the most excruciating pain ever. I screamed in agony and my whole body was burning. My eyes started to feel like they were on fire and my screams became louder and that's all you could hear. Suddenly James was pulled off of me and I crippled to the floor. I was crying in pain covering my eyes because they were burning. "Carlisle" I heard a voice say from above me and I couldn't open my eyes to see who. Only my blue eye was burning but for some reason I couldn't open my green one. Suddenly I felt teeth sink into the same spot James had bit me and the pain was worse than when James had bit me. At this point I was screaming like there was no tomorrow and to me it felt like I wasn't going to see tomorrow. Before I knew it I felt fine but slightly faint. My neck was burning though, just not as much. I slightly opened my eyes and could only see through my green one. Weird. I saw blonde hair and smiled slightly. "Rosalie" I asked and I felt some one lift me up. "I can't see out of my right eye" I whimpered. "Shhh it's okay it's me. You'll be fine it'll just take some time to heal" I heard her voice say reassuring me. It may have not worked this time my la tua cantante but one day I will be sure of it. I heard and shook my head. Stupid voice. I thought and heard what sounded like a guy talking, but eventually I fell asleep. Once I woke up I was in the Cullen's house. I must have been asleep for quite a while. I heard talking around me and my vision in both eyes was clearing up. "Hey how long have I been out" I asked rubbing my eyes looking around at everyone. "You've been asleep for 3 years Cassie" Emmett said looking at me very seriously. I shot up in a sitting position looking around at everyone. "WHAT" I screamed and everyone started laughing. "He's kidding Cass you've only been asleep for a couple hours" Rosalie said which made me glare at Emmett. He stuck his tongue at me playfully and laughed. I suddenly saw Bella and glared. "You bitch" I spat at her and everyone looked at me shocked. "What she didn't tell you what she did?" I asked looking at everyone. They shook their head but when I looked at Edward his eyes widened probably from reading my mind. "She was going to let James kill me in exchange for her mother. Some stupid sister I have. Since day one that you've gotten here Isabella you've been nothing but horrible to me. Well guess what, I'm not deaf you bitch I was sitting next to your lunch table and you were just talking about me as if I was an imaginary person with no feelings. It's not my fault my eyes are the way they are. If the situation was the other way around I wouldn't treat you as poorly as you treat me you coward. If you think I'll ever forgive you keep dreaming. Both you and your mother treat me like some mistake. No wonder Renne took you and left me with Charlie. Maybe you should have stayed in Arizona. It would have been the best for all of us if you would have stayed over there" I spat looking at her. "Cassie you don't mean that" I heard Esme say and I looked over at her. "I do. She's treated me like some weird parasite my whole life. Sometimes I'd rather die than be in the same room as her. She's lucky I didn't let James kill her there and then because if I was as cold hearted as I wanted to be she'd be dead already and I wouldn't care one bit. She's just like everyone else at school. Treating me as if I should just go kill myself. And you know what maybe I should, but I'd never be able to do that to Charlie or the people down at the reservation they are the only ones who treat me as if I'm normal." I said looked at Esme. "They wouldn't care" I heard Bella mumble and I lunged at her but Edward caught me. "Get over yourself Isabella Swan. From now on I'm not your sister and you're probably glad of that aren't you? You're going to love when I leave and go somewhere else. You're gonna have a party when I'm gone right?" I said looking at her. I got out of Edwards grip and was about to walk out he door but got pulled back by Rosalie. "You're not going anywhere" she said sitting me down. I huffed and didn't dare give Bella a second glance. Okay maybe I was looking at her through the corner of my eye but I didn't care. Eventually I was just fed up with the awkward silence and headed home. Once I got home and closed the door I slid down it crying. "Hey Cass- What's wrong" I heard Jacob's voice and was lifted into his arms. I was moved into my dad's arms and cried harder gripping his shirt. "Daddy" I cried not loosening my grip on him one bit. "What's wrong" he asked sitting down. "Bella said that you guys wouldn't care if I killed myself" I cried harder into his neck. "Hey Shhhh, don't listen to your sister she just doesn't understand you that's all" he said rocking me back and forth and the couch and I started calming down. "Promise?" I hiccuped. "We promise" Billy and Dad said. I smiled slightly and Jacob came over to me lifting my putting me on his back. "I'm going to take her to the guys. We'll cheer her up don't worry" Jacob said making all of us smile. I really missed Quil and Embry. This day was sort of getting better but I wasn't sure what was planned for the rest of the day.
