~Chapter Fifteen~

Chapter 15.

Short. I know! But I just wanted it done and up for you guys. This is just a filler. Then maybe some more fillers with a bit more action. Then idk: p turns out I don’t know the ending to my story and it might be longer than 20 chapters J PLEASE READ THE AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END! ITS IMPORTANT!!!

Kali:

I thought my heart was already broken. Turns out it could be broken again and again. I’d wanted Hunter to kill me. But I also didn’t want him to kill me; I knew he wouldn’t do it. But now, I know he will. In killing me he’d kill himself but obviously that was a risk he was willing to take.

I ran through the forest trying to get as far from the area as possible. I knew I was already a fair way away but couldn’t underestimate Hunter; he’s a pretty good tracker and hunter. Hence his name.

My wolf was crazed. She didn’t like our mate, she hated him. But now for an unknown reason, the human in me didn’t feel the same. No matter what he did to me, he was still my mate. I just didn’t know if what I felt was love or not. I thought back to the kiss, how our bodies responded to each other, how my body fit perfectly with his. I pulled away from this thought. I wasn’t ready to face my emotions yet.

Hunter:

Her scent. I found her scent. Picking up my pace I ran as fast as I could, following the scent of my ex-mate. Ok not exactly ex but pretty close.

I didn’t love Kali. I knew I didn’t…

Yeah. Keep telling yourself that.

 

 

Kali:

I was far from Hunter’s territory now. But I was also getting closer to another packs territory. I don’t know when I’ll get there but it’ll be a few days yet. Maybe a week.

Through the trees I catch glimpses of the setting sun and realise I’m tired. I find a thick bush and pull myself inside it, using it as cover and shelter. In a few hours the moon is high in the sky and I fall asleep staring up at it, wishing I was free like that.

Hunter:

I was fast. I knew that, I would find Kali in a few days and end my suffering. From the strength of her scent I knew I was close. I’d find her in a few hours, give or take.

I will find my mate and my life would go back to normal. And normal was what I wanted.

Yeah Hunter keep telling yourself that…

I’m soooooooooooooooo sorry for how long this took. I’m at boarding school now, so yea uploads won’t come anymore. I’m so sorry, but unless I get a huge amount of votes and comments, I’m not continuing this story. I’ve no longer interested by it, and my uploads are taking too long.
