Will never texted me for us to hang out during my break and I was a bit worried.

With a rumbling stomach I entered English class but Will was not there. My previous English teacher MS Griffin entered the classroom and taught.

Where was Will?

Damien Hawthorne entered the class and the girls ogled at him.

And can you believe it? He made the boy sitting next to me get up and he sat next to me. Why? His friends were at the back and there was a sit for him there so why this sit.

The girls gave me a bunch of death stares and I was uncomfortable.

“Hi Alisa.”

Damien Hawthorne knew my name? Didn’t he ignore me that day when I tried to talk to him and completely walked out without asking me what I wanted when his phone rang?

“Hi Damien.” I answered shyly.

He was smiling at me.

And when we were asked to partner up he claimed me as his partner.

“Do you think breathtaking is a good word to describe a beach?” I asked

We were asked to develop descriptive words for a number of things and write a short descriptive paragraph. The first picture was a sunset, then there was the beach, and then the last picture was of a bald headed man.

“How about hot?” Damien breathed looking at me.

I blushed.

“I guess.”

Damien and I finished our short descriptive paragraphs and handed them over to the teacher.

“These will not be marked and thanks to those of you who shared your short descriptive paragraphs with the class. This exercise was to just to help with your descriptive writing skills.”

“Quiet down class. Before we end the class the last exercise is to write on your OWN a descriptive paragraph describing your partner in your exercise books. You are allowed to proof read each other’s work and based on what was taught today you can use it as a guideline to mark your partners work and tell him or her where he or she is going wrong. Understand?”

“Yes Miss.” The class said in union.

After 10 minutes we were told to exchange books.

 Damien’s paragraph had me blushing.

Her blonde hair smells fruity and flows with the wind.  Her luscious lips are thin and inviting.  Should I grace her tempting pink lips with a kiss? Her dark brown eyes are captivating and see deep into your soul. Her vanilla skin is so soft and flawless. Would it be wrong if I touched? Her blue and black dress brings her luscious curves to life.  I have never seen such a beautiful girl in the school. Why didn’t I approach her sooner? She looks like an angel with her white pearly smile. How I wish she would be mine.

How am I going to comment?  Why wasn’t I like Ashley who knew what to tell boys?  I looked to Tally for help and saw that she was busy correcting her partner’s paragraph.

I settled on “it is great Damien”

“You think?” He said coming too close to my face for my liking.

I think Damien was about to kiss me and I was probably about to let him. Who knows. But the movement of someone caught my eyes and I could feel their eyes on me.

I look up to see Will. He looked tired. His hair was disheveled like he ran his hands through it a lot today out of frustration. He didn’t look please to see how close Damien and I were but said nothing.

He cleared his throat.

“Sorry class for not being there. I had some things to deal with. I will see you all on Friday. Well its 3 minutes before class end but you all are allowed to leave.”

Without looking at me he left the classroom.
