Heartless Love

Chapter 30

"Well done, Draco." His Aunt whispered in his ear as she walked up behind him, his wand still pointed at the man.

She thought his was life or death of him, and that's how he wanted it to stay. No clue what she would do if she found out he was dating Elara.

"Good evening, Bellatrix." Albus looked at the women that killed his daughter. Bit sounding like he hated her, when deep down he did. " I think introductions are in order, don't you?"

"I'd love to, Albus, but I'm afraid we're on a bit of a tight schedule." She looked at Draco. "Do it!"

"He doesn't have the stomach." One of the men said. "Just like his father."

It wasn't that, it was the thought of his breaking Elara heart. He could feel her just under the floor boards. They had a bound now that they joined together as one. He didn't want her to see her grandfather die. It would hurt her, and they all knew it.

"Let me finish him in my own way."

"NO! The dark Lord was very clear that the boy was to do it."

Severus slowly walked under the floor, heart broken that his daughter was going to see this. He showed them both to be quite as Harry looked at him confused, his wand still slightly raised. But, Severus has his wand pointing at the boy causing it to be lowered.

"This is your moment. Do it. Go on Draco! NOW!"

"No." Severus said as he stepped out of the shadows.

Draco turned to look at him in fear. Albus looked down to see Harry and Elara. His heart broke, he didn't want her here. Out of all the places, she had to be here on this night.

"Severus."

Albus looked at the man his daughter married. It was all quite as they all looked around. It had to be him, Severus had to do it.

"Please." Albus begged.

"Avada Kedavra." Severus spoke the unspeakable curse.

Elara watched in terror as her grandfather flew out the window. The same window that she wanted to jump from, but was stopped. She had to cover her mouth, so her sob would be silenced. Severus grabbed Draco and quickly pulled him out of the room. Harry waited until the other were gone until he grabbed Elara and pulled her out of the room.

Harry ran to the group once Elara was safely hidden. Draco watched in horror at the chaos his aunt was making. This isn't the life he wanted.

The group walked out the Hagrid's, but Draco wanted to go back to find Elara. He wanted to hold her, she needed him. He knew she needed him.

"Snape! He trust you!" Harry yelled as he got closer to the group.

They all stopped and turned to look at the boy who lived. But, Bellatrix didn't care. She set the house on fire and jump up to cheer.

"Go on." Snape said as a man grabbed Draco as he tried to stay back. Harry through a spell st Severus, but it was easily blocked.

Her grandfather was gone. The time was coming, but she never wanted it to happen. Ginny found Elara as all the students were going out to where his body was. Genny held her best friend as she cried. Harry was the first to go up to the body, taking something out of his pocket. Neville went to comfort, or help comfort, Elara as Genny went to Harry. Everyone watched as the broke slowly broke more than they were.

McGonagall was the first to raise her wand, but soon everyone started to join in. Even Elara who held tightly onto Neville's arm for balance. Sin the dark mark in the sky was gone.

The school was quite after that. Elara hadn't come out of her room. Everyone was soon to leave the school. Elara, going to the Dumbeldor Estate. She was going to have the whole place to herself. Her grandfather was gone. Her father was the dark Lords right hand man. Her boyfriend was probably locked in his house.

She had no way to get ahold of him. She couldn't send him an owl, it was to dangerous.

Slowly packing her things, she was one of the last to leave. Her eyes were red and puffy. They were almost swollen is she didn't use a spell to help her see.

Her father wasn't here to send her off this time. But, she knows he sends her love. She knows he could sneak off to help her. Yet, she still wanted Draco. There was an emptiness inside her. She missed her boyfriend. She really really missed him. She wanted to see him again, but didn't know how.

She closed her trunk as Professor McGonagall was walking in.

"Are you ready?" Elara nodded her head and her chest disappeared.
