Background: When Lia’s father left when she was 13, her mother, instead of being depressed, took the change as a chance at being free and starting fresh. She packed up her children and moved them to Japan where she was promised an internship at a prestigious design company. Her hope was to have her fashion designs one day be enough to support them. So far they haven’t gotten them too far. Lia and her family live about 5 minutes away from the Higurashi Shrine and Lia’s mother has befriended Mrs. Higurashi.

Family: Lia lives with her mother and her younger twin brothers, Ethan and Tanner. They’re both 15. Her mother is an aspiring fashion designer who has yet to made it big so they are struggling for money. She works as a part time caregiver to bring in funds. Lia also puts half of the money she makes towards the home and the other half for school savings. Ethan has a lizard that Lia is absolutely terrified by. Ethan is the studious sibling, the responsible one. Tanner likes to let loose. He’s really into soccer and really enjoys taking his brother’s lizard and scaring his sister with it. They have a bloodhound named Trigger that enjoys sleeping on Lia’s bed and going for morning runs with her. Their father left when Lia was 13. Despite the age she was, she doesn’t remember him at all.

Story Start;
Iia’s P.O.V
I’m not special, I don’t have special powers, or anything like that. I’m just a normal human in the feudal era helping out Inuyasha and the gang collect the Shikon Jewel Shards. Don’t ask me how, without any special powers or anything, how I can come back and forth between my world and the feudal era. As for now I’m traveling with Inuyasha, Sango, Shippo, and Maroku. We’re actually just waiting for Kagome to come back from her visit to her family in her world. “Hey, Iia, why didn’t you go back with Kagome back to your world?” Maroku asked. I took a sip of my tea.
“I don’t know. I guess I just didn’t feel like going back this time” I answered. Maroku smiled.
“You just didn’t want to leave me. Afraid that I might leave you for someone else, huh” Maroku teased. I rolled my eyes.
“Sure, let’s go with that one” I said, sarcastically. Maroku chuckled. The wind started to pick up, started to swirl around really fast. I held my hair in place since it was beginning to fly everywhere.
“Hey look guys a whirlwind” Shippo pointed out. I looked at the direction that Shippo pointed to. That wasn’t a normal whirlwind. Actually I knew that whirlwind. Koga was here. My heart beat started to quicken, the butterflies in my stomach started to flutter in my stomach. Yes, I have a crush on the wolf demon Koga, but I knew he didn’t like me. He was always flirting with Kagome. He never really paid much attention to me. It hurt a little bit, but what can I do? I can’t force someone to like me. Inuyasha stood up and grabbed the hilt of his sword.
“Where’s Kagome, mutt” Koga’s voice echoed through the mini whirlwind.
“And why’s that your business” Inuyasha growled. The mini whirlwind around Koga started to disappear. Koga stood there, glaring at Inuyasha. Ginta and Hakkaku stopped running right behind Koga, both with their hands on their knees, breathing hard.
