Story start:
The kingdom came into view as I contiuned to walk towards it, 'I just hope he remebers' i thought as i kept going. I felt like i was going to collaspe of not only from the heat, but because i ran out of water as well. "I wonder where the river is" as i said that the river itself came into view. I quickly ran up to it and drank the water, i also filled my canten with more as well. After a while of relaxation and a little bit of rest, i got up and contiuned my way to the palace. 'Please remeber' i thought as the palace came into view.
"Halt who goes there" A guard said stepping forward.
"My name is Lucia, i came here to speak to the pharaoh" I said, which got me weird looks from the guards.
"What buisness do you have with the pharaoh" I turned around and saw a man walking towards me, he also had a millienum item.
"That's for me to know, its personal" I told the man. "Listen im sure if you tell the pharaoh who i am he would understand"
"The pharaoh is a busy man you do realize that" The man said stopping in front of me.
"Yes i know, but i really need to see him" I pleaded, the man looked me over and then told me to wait outside the walls until he got permission to allow me in, i nodded my head agreeing.
-Flashback-
I was wondering around, i was upset my father had just been killed, as i wandered i noticed a boy with really odd hair sitting against a tree. "Who are you" I asked the boy as i approached him, when i got a better look at him i noticed that he was a rich boy.
"My name is Atem" The boy said looking at me.
"You mean prince Atem" I quickly said, Atem just nodded at me and looked back at the sky.
"What are you doing out here all by yourself" I asked sitting down next to him.
"I needed to get away, i needed some peace and quit" He simply said still looking at the sky.
"Im sorry im disturbing you" I said standing up, Atem quickly grabbed my wrist looking at me like he didnt want me to go, so i sat down.
"You seem upset about something" Atem said still looking at me.
"Yeah i am, but i dont want to burden you with my problems" I said as i pulled my knees closer to my chest, i wanted to cry again but i didnt want to do that in front of the prince. He has better things to worry about.
"Your not a burden.. ummm.."
"Lucia"
"Right your not a burden Lucia, and plus someone shouldnt hold things in, its not good for them" Atem put a hand on my shoulder causing me to look up at him.
"Im just upset because my father was just killed" I couldnt hold back any longer, i cryed. Atem gave me a sad look, and he pulled me into his chest.
"Im so sorry Lucia, i wish i knew what to say or do to make you feel better" Atem said as he stroked my hair, we stayed like that for awhile, i finally calmed down, thats when i noticed severl men on horses ride up. "It looks like my dads guards has found me" Atem said realseing me and standing up, he held out his hand, i took it and he helped me stand up."Lucia before i go i want to promise you something, i promise that when ever you need me that i will be here, that i will always be your friend and your shoulder to cry on. And i promise i will never forget you and to see you when i can" Atem then took my hand and kissed it, i couldnt help but blush.
