Justin smiles at the crowd and makes a face that suggests that I’m not intimidating but instead cute. This causes me to scowl at him, which the crowd thinks is funny. Justin laughs into his mic, officially accepting the challenge and steps toward me, raising his mic to his lips and singing:

Back off, I'll take you on

Headstrong to take on anyone

I know that you are wrong

Headstrong, we're headstrong

He pushes my shoulder back slightly before continuing while Alex starts keeping the beat on his drums:

Back off, I'll take you on

Headstrong to take on anyone

I know that you are wrong

And this is not where you belong

He stops and lifts his arms up, “It’s on!” he yells and the crowd whistles and cheers. Eyes are trained on me, waiting for a response. This is the easiest part of the sing off. We’re just repeating what we did on Saturday.  I laugh and look down before lifting the mic to my lips and walking up to him singing:

They told him don't you ever come around here

Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear

The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear

So beat it, just beat it

I spin on my toes and moonwalk smoothly along the bumpy stage, I pop and imaginary shirt collar to finish it all off. The crowd now claps for me, whooping loudly, but Justin just shakes his head and continues quickly with:

The road I walk is paved in gold,

To glorify my platinum soul.

I am the closest thing to God,

So worship me and never stop.

I laugh.

“You’re pathetic.” I comment, repeating the same thing I said the past weekend.

“Me? Pathetic? At least I’m not dancing around like a fairy.” He snorts arrogantly, playing along.

“Don’t like it?” I ask while flipping my hair over my shoulder sassily. I get a few laughs at that and smile.

“Nah, it’s totally hot.” He says sarcastically.

“Yeah?” I ask challengingly.

“Yeah, babe, why don’t you dance again?” he asks, raising his eyebrows suggestively and grabbing my waist. I scowl at him and the crowd whistles at the scene. That’s annoying.

I roll my eyes and grab his shirt collar, pulling him to me. He’s not startled this time. He expected it, which I totally hate. I belt out:

I'm not here for your entertainment

You don't really want to mess with me tonight

Just stop and take a second

I was fine before you walked into my life

Cause you know it's over

Before it began

Keep your drink just give me the money

It's just you and your hand tonight

I turn to the crowd and motion to my hand with a wink. The guys in the crowd find this especially funny and cheer me on. I turn back to Justin and let my hands run down his shirt and twirl my hips. I lean in closely as I breathe out the next part of the song onto his lips:
