Arranged marriage

Chapter 8

I took my earphones out when Kieran started talking to me, then the guy spoke when I heard his voice I remember him, and I don't know why I never remembered him before in the house. 

"Nathan?" I questioned. I know it can't be him considering the fact I seen him die.

"Yeah, Elena" he said with a smile on his face.

"You two know each other?" Kieran asks us both.

"Yeah erm she's my baby sister" Nathan said. I looked at him before walking away.

I need space from everyone so I made my way to the park, sat on the bench for a while how can Nathan be alive I seen him die, if he didn't then why didn't he come home, and why now did he decide to come back into my life instead of earlier. I thought to myself, I have all these questions spinning around in my head, and then I get a message it's from Kieran.

*Text messages*

From Kieran
"Elena. Where are you?  Why did you walk away from Nathan, and I?"

To Kieran
"I am at the park. No reason."

From Kieran
"Okay. Nathan, and I are on our way."

To Kieran
"Okay."

We stopped texting, I'm listening to 'Sk8- Juiceman' when Kieran, and Nathan pulled up. I walked over to the car, Nathan walks over to me while smiling at me, and I looked at him but I wanted to smile at him but I couldn't. I thought he was dead, Nathan looked over to the car, nods then Kieran drives away, and  I gave Nathan a confused look. Nathan sits down on the park bench,and I copy him.

"Elena. I never died because when the car was about to go on the bridge I got in Kieran's car" Nathan tells me.

"Okay, how did the car manage to still drive by its self. Why didn't you come home?" I asked him.

"Elena there are people after me because remember I was the best driver, now people think I am dead they don't care" he explains.

"You knew that someone was going to kill you once you drove on that bridge?" I question him.

"Yeah, when I heard that you were back racing off of Kieran I had to see you. Kieran told me that you two are engaged because mum, and dad need the money also he wants you" Nathan says.

I nod at Nathan, then we start talking about other stuff after I while Nathan, and I make our way to Kieran's house. We walk in to see that Kieran is making dinner, when he noticed us he smiled then Nathan looks at me before looking at Kieran.

"I better get going before it gets too late. I will see you both later" Nathan says to us.

"Bye. Nathan" I say while giving him a hug, Nathan walks out of the house,and I looked at Kieran I bit my lip nervously.

"Do you need any help? I am sorry for walking off, if I made you worry" I ask then say truthfully to Kieran.

"I don't need any help but you can set the table, it's fine I understand why you walked away" he tells me.

I nod at Kieran then set the table, when I was done I got cans of Sprite for us, and we started eating dinner it wasn't awkward as I thought it would be. We finished dinner so I washed then dried, and put the dishes away. Kieran is in the living room drinking a beer while watching the football which I don't mind since after all he did make dinner, I sat on the chair while going through social media on my phone, and I was just retweeting stuff when Kieran started shouting at the t.v. I laughed slightly because he was angry at the other team for scoring.

"You know they can't hear you right" I say to Kieran.

"I know but it still annoying" he tells me.

"Yep anyway I am going for a bath" I said.

Kieran nods at me while getting an other beer, I made my way upstairs than ran myself a bath, and I got out of the bath then put pjs on. I got into bed while thinking about my eventful day, and then I fell asleep.
