Virat's P.O.V.

Ting tong! I rang the bell outside Satakshi's house. It was Saturday and I was, as decided, at her house to pick her up. Soon after, the door was opened by an elderly man with a firm look on his face, who I suppose was Satakshi's dad. He looked as if he was disturbed by the bell. When he got a look at me, I saw his expression change to a surprised one. His eyes grew bigger and bigger. He then took his hands, covered his mouth, and gasped-

"Oh.My.God!"

"Who's it, dad?" I heard Satakshi's voice from the background. She was quickly approaching the door. But without paying any attention to Satakshi, her dad continued-

"VI...VIR... VIRAT KOHLI!?"

By then Satakshi had reached the door. I had thought she would be ready, waiting for me, but seems like I was wrong.

"Oh hey, it's you," she greeted me with a smile. And then she turned to her awestruck dad, and started explaining things to him.... about our extraordinary meet. After the explanation, they finally called me in. Satakshi, after making me sit, briefly apologized for not being ready, and rushed upstairs to change. When she was gone, I being sure she wouldn't be back in less than half an hour, fixed my gaze on the clock on the wall in front of me. I had to engage myself in a boring conversation with her dad, continuously looking at the clock now and then. I am a very restless person by nature. To my utter surprise, Satakshi emerged from her room in not more than ten minutes. She looked breathtaking, even though she wore simple and casual clothes. I could really stare into those eyes of her the whole day, if given the chance. No wait! What the hell am I thinking about? She was just a 'friend'. Or maybe less than that--I hardly knew anything about her other than her name and the fact that she loves her car and broke up with her boyfriend the other day. And also that she's beautiful, a voice at the back of my mind said. I quickly shook off these thoughts from my mind and said to her--

"Wow! I never imagined you'd get ready so soon! I think you just broke a world record!" Before I get a scolding from her, I hastily added, "Just kidding. Now that you're here, let's get going!' I said, and we left after saying goodbye to Mr.Ray (that's Satakshi's dad)

At the coffee shop

Satakshi's P.O.V.

"Waiter!" Virat called out, after we had both sat down at a table at the corner of the room. Soon after, the waiter came and stood by our table, waiting for our order. Virat was probably well acquainted with this place, it seemed, cause I didn't see many people over react on seeing him.

I turned to the waiter to give out my order, the usual thing I order,

"A cappuccino", I said, in unison with Virat. I looked back at Virat instantly, and saw him do the same. After a brief pause, both of us burst into laughter. I must say, he actually looked cute while laughing, contrary to his angry-young-man look. When we both were done laughing, an uncomfortable silence prevailed. I am a person who could not tolerate such "silence", and therefore thought about what to talk about. And something struck me suddenly. I asked him--

"Well... Why were you staring at me like that when I was coming out from my room? Do I look that bad?" I know. Stupid question. :/

"Who the hell told you that people stare at others when they look bad?"

"Um, then?"

"Dumbo... I was staring at you cause you looked beautiful!" he confessed. Woah. Unexpected. After my break-up, I had really started wondering I look really ugly. I really couldn't imagine any other reason why he would cheat on me. Anyways, I have promised myself not to think about it, so I went back to the present situation..

"Um thanks" I mumbled and felt my cheeks go red without my knowledge. I instantly looked down, in order to avoid his gaze, hoping he wouldn't notice me blushing at such a ridiculous thing.

"So, umm..." He started, trying to make conversation. "How are you today?"

"What do you mean how am I today?"

"Well you know... After that breakup yesterday.. You okay?"

"Oh yeah. I'm fine...I guess. But I still can't get over the fact that he actually cheated on me," I replied, thinking about the previous day.

"Well, mind telling me what happened exactly?" He said, and quickly added, "That is, if you don't mind."

"Oh, umm... Well.. Kay.. So.. His name is Advitya. We had been in a relationship since the last two years and I loved him like crazy. Turns out he was using me...for my money. Apparently, he had been cheating on me with another girl since months.."

"WHAT! How could he do that to someone like you? This is.. Unbelievable! How ever did you come to know about it?"

"Well.. I had been to his place yesterday, to hang out. When he was in the washroom, I picked up his phone to check my facebook updates as my phone's battery was dead. On his phone, his facebook account was open. Apparently, he had forgotten to log out. The conversations page was open, showing his conversation with a random girl, Princess Samana. I couldn't help reading it.. I read the last lines, which were:

Samana: K lover boy.. Now I shud get goin.. Satakshi wud be hea any moment & m sure u dnt want 2 let go of ur 'chalta firta purse' so easily, ryt? :>

Advitya: Oh yea! I had totaly 4gotn abt dat gal! K bye... cya. Luv u!

Samana: Byeeeeeeeee baby... Luv u much more! Mwaah :*

Advitya: Mwaaah :* Miss u already!

This was enough for me to understand. And the rest, as they say, is history." I finished, trying to hold back my tears.

"That bloody asshole! How dare he do that!" Virat said, angrily.

"Please don't call him that!"

"You still care for--" Virat was saying when the waiter arrived with our coffee, and he immediately shushed up.

"Yes, I still care for him, even though he cheated on me. You don't expect me to change my feelings all of a suden for a boy I've loved for freaking two years right?" I said, taking a sip from my coffee, once the waiter was gone. "Well, chuck it. Let's change the topic. He's definitely not the one whom I want to talk about right now." I said, before Virat could answer. I was sure I would burst out into tears if I continued talking about him. Virat thankfully changed the topic without further questioning. He seemed to be a nice guy to me..

We kept on talking random stuff about each other for a long time. When our coffee was over, Virat said,

"Okay now I wanna take you to a special place"

"Where?"

"You just wait and watch!" He said with a wink and after paying the bill, he escorted me out of the shop, into his car.
