Chapter One Hundred and Ninety-Three: Dean

The hunter awoke around 3:30 the next afternoon and found Bobby sleeping in the chair next to his bed. The green eyes tried to blink the crustiness out of them. Dean tried to lick his lips, but his mouth felt dry.

"Hey, Bobby," came a soft whisper.

The older man jumped up and looked down into those expressive eyes, forgetting it wasn't the little boy laying there. He hurried out of the room and went to let the physician and Sam know.

Soon all three men were in the room. The doctor dampened a washcloth and dripped water into the green eyes to wash away the encrusted sleep. Sam got a glass of cool water with a straw and gave his brother a nice long drink.

Dean looked up at his brother and asked, "Who ran over me?"
