The young hunter slept for another twelve hours. The angel did not leave his side. The two care givers and Bobby took turns sitting in the room. No one wanted the man to wake up alone.

At 5:00 in the morning, Kelly and Cas heard a soft moan from Dean. He moved slightly and the woman smiled when he softly smacked his lips. She imagined his mouth was probably very dry. The paramedic turned on the table lamp and set it on the low setting. Dean opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling, a confused look on his face.

"Wh...where am I?"

"You're at Bobby's house. Let me go get you some water. Your mouth has to be dry."

"W...w...wait," Dean's voice was hoarse.

"I'll try to answer all your questions. Let me get the water first."

Castiel could sense the confusion and frustration in his charge. He wished he could just appear to the man and tell him what had occurred, but Father would punish him horribly if he did.

Kelly came back into the room and began to tell Dean what had happened. Castiel listened and then looked up. Father was calling him. The angel stood and took another look at Dean and smiled. In another second, the angel was gone.
