A/N~ This is poem 20/30, so nine more to go after this. BTW, I am not describing me in this, I'm just using a typical stereotype often used by many people. But it is how I feel, just like all of the other poems I have written in here. :)
I watched him.
Laughing and joking around
with his friends.
He was so annoying.
I was trying not to get noticed
by them.
Running like a shadow,
in and out of the large crowds,
in our cafeteria.
Suddenly, and to my dissatisfaction,
he turned, and saw me.
I had traveled as close as I would dare,
to his little group.
They loved to pic on me.
Put me into a living hell.
Make me suffer through their
endless torcher.
"Hey! Emo! Come here!"
I heard his voice, calling me.
I knew if I went over there,
today's pain would start.
But if I didn't go over there,
who knew what they would do.
My little posy from hell,
is known as the football team,
and every other jock that walks this planet.
They just love to pick on the "emo."
Who are they to call me that?
Who are they to use such
discriminating stereotypes against me?
They had no actual authority.
But who would come to my help?
I had no friends.
No one would come for my aid if I asked.
Everyone is xenophobic of me.
Scared of the dark clothes that I wear.
The black lipstick, eye liner and eye shadow.
Someones outside does not characterize
who they are on the inside.
Do not judge a book by its cover.
Do not discriminate against me
because I am different.
You do not know who I am.
What my story is.
You use your jokes against me.
Make up you false tales about me.
Say to others about how I cut myself.
How I was a pathetic looser.
How all I did was mope around all day.
But when you see me next,
I will be above you.
I will be on TV,
you will beg me for money,
tell people how we were best
friends in high school.
But I will deny every word.
I will tell the world how you picked on me.
Made my life miserable.
The tables will turn, and I will be on top.
