12 hours later
"I brought all her stuff" I said to my mom
"Loren are you sure you going with this idea. And leaving Valerie with me!?" She questioned
"I know and I thought about it. But I gotta do this, and I can't bring Valerie until I settle in" I said
I dropped Valerie off at her house to stay with her while I'm in California. I didn't want to bring Val because I had business I needed to settle, and she's doing so well in school. I don't want to ruin her attendance.
"Mommy you leaving?" Valerie asked me
"Yea baby, but you have to stay with grandma for a while. I will call you everyday when I go okay?" I replied
She gave me a hug and a kiss and went back to play with her dolls.
I hugged my mom goodbye, and headed back to my car.
As I got in the car I got a call from Ray
Me: yah?
R: I'm almost there, you haven't texted me your address yet
Me: okay. But don't come in the house Ray. I'll text you the address
R: *laughing* why can't I come in?
Me: just don't Ray!
I ended the call, as I pulled out of my moms drive way. I didn't want RayShawn to come in just incase Daquan was there. I don't know his schedule and I don't want Ray to run into him. I know it wouldn't end well.

When I got to the house Daquan wasn't there, thankfully. I ran upstairs and continued to pack my things.
I called miracle while packing so she knew what was up.
Phone convo:
Me: girl!
M: I'm working Loren, but talk
Me: I'm leaving bitch, you not even gonna say bye
M: ohh, Daquan's letting you leave?
Me: he don't control me honey, I know who I am
M: we'll see about that. Call me when you get there, drive safe
Me: okay
"Who don't control you" A voice said chuckling
I didn't want to turn, because I knew I wouldn't be happy.
"Babee" I said cheerfully "your home early.. Why?"
"Because I am Loren," he replied
I tried kicking the suitcase to the side with out him seeing it.
"Why you got that suitcase out" he asked me, biting into his Apple
"Ohh.funny you noticed that." I started to say "I'm going back to Cali" I uttered
He dropped his Apple in astonishment. I didn't bother to look at him. I continued packing my clothes.
"Fuck no! What business you got in California ma!" He semi-yelled taking the clothes out of my hand
