Sunday, the 24th of December

Noah's fingers wrap around my wrist and guide me away from the chopping board. I pout while he raises an eyebrow and shakes his head.

"You spent the entire morning cooking for your father, let me do this for us."

"I enjoyed cooking and I want to spend time with you."

"How about you sit on the counter?"

"I suppose I have to agree."

Noah wraps his arms around my waist and I nuzzle my face into the crook of his neck. He places me on the counter and I hook my leg around his waist and grin. I slide my hands over his chest and tangle my fingers in his hair.

He kisses my forehead and brushes his nose against mine. I nip his lower lip and tug on his hair. Noah grips the back of my head and holds me close as his lips move against mine. Butterflies erupt in my stomach as our kiss deepens.

I trail my fingers over his chest and slide them under his cotton t-shirt. Warmth radiates from his body as I explore his toned muscles. His arm circles around my waist, tugging me.

His other hand pulls at my hair, exposing my throat for his lips to cover in kisses. I moan as he reaches my collarbone. Lust and the sweet smell of chamomile fill my sense as I let my body take control. I rock my hips against him and dig my fingernails into his skin.

Noah curls the hem of my t-shirt around his finger and pulls it up. I jolt back and panic surges into his olive green eyes.

"I'm sorry, I should have asked."

"Don't be sorry, I'm just." I burry my face into the crook of his neck and his arms protectively wrap around my body.

"You have nothing to be sorry about." He chuckles.

I take a deep breath and lean back. Noah dips down so our gaze meets. He cups my cheeks and kisses my forehead.

"We don't have to do anything you're not ready for."

"I promise it's not that."

I cover his hands with mine and inhale a deep breath, it doesn't sooth my racing heart though.

"What's wrong?" He frowns.

"I'm nervous because our first time in Australia was magical and what if." I shake my head. "I know I'm being silly but this is how I feel."

Noah rubs my back and smiles.

"Don't feel silly about your feelings."

"I'm just a silly goose."
