Chapter 20

*Katies POV*

We've been home from the road trip for about a week now and Luke and I are really happy, as is the rest of the family. The boys have a meet and greet in Sydney coming up soon, just because they've been away and haven't done anything like that in a while.

Skye and I decided we'd stay home, we've had enough travelling for one month, the boys would be back tomorrow though.

the boys left the house really early, I woke up to a small note at the side of my bed.

I was tidying my room when I found the charm bracelet luke had gotten me for my birthday, I slipped it on and everytime it caught my glance I would smile.

Skye and I went out for lunch and then done some shopping.

*Lukes POV*

I hate leaving Katie on her own, I know she is getting better but i still feel anxious about her being on her own.

The meet and greet is going pretty well.

I say hi to the fans.

Make small conversation.

Give them a hug.

Sign merch or take pictures with them.

And then the next person comes and the process starts again.

We were there for so long, when we finally got back to our hotel I was so tired but I had to Skype my girl.

*Katies POV*

I had waited the whole day for my Skype call with Luke and when it finally rang I was so happy.

I clicked accept, quickly fixed my hair and then smiled madly at my screen.

The call connected and my gorgeous boyfriends face appeared.

"Hi handsome"

"Hey gorgeous"

We smiled at each other.

"I miss you" he said putting on his sad puppy face.

"I miss you too baby, but you're home tomorrow yay"

"Yeah, can't wait"

Luke blew a kiss towards his camera and I pretended to catch it, we both laughed and talked for hours.

"Have you done anything exciting today Katie?"

"Nope not really, just went shopping with skye"

"What did you buy?"

"Oh just some things"

"Oh" he smirked.

"Let's see them on then?" He winked at me.

"Fineeee" I got up off my bed and grabbed the bag off the floor.

I quickly got changed into all my new clothes and showed Luke.

I had bought a new pair of high waisted shorts, just for the days I was feeling slightly more confident.

I slipped them on and walked over to the camera, Luke gazed at me in my new shorts and smiled.

"You look beautiful Katie" he said playing with his lip ring.

I smiled at the floor and just as I was away to change when luke spoke.

"Katie?"

"Yes luke?"

"I want you to promise me something?"

"Anything babe"

"Promise me you haven't hurt yourself tonight?"

I looked at my boyfriend in confusion? Why did he want me to promise that?

"Urm why?"

"Just so I know you haven't hurt yourself while I've been gone"

"I promise"

"You promise what?"

"I promise I haven't hurt myself tonight."

Luke smiled like an idiot and blew another kiss.

"Do you think you'll be able to promise me this every night?"

"Yup" I smiled at him.

"I think you need some sleep Katie it's 3am"

"Me too, I'm tired"

"Go to sleep babe, I love you to the moon and back 4 times"

"4 times really?"

"Yup" he smiled madly.

"I love you luke"

I ended our call and went to sleep.
