She was heading to Aubergine Restaurant at Taguig. Doon gaganapin ang dinner together with the Montaniez.

She'd had enough.

Ayaw na niyang patagalin pa ito dahil obviously, she and Aiden are a lost cause. And now that Geleene is already with him, okay na. This is what she wanted from the first place anyway. So why prolong the innevitable?

She parked her white Audi.

Aiden came out of the passenger seat. Her gripped on the stirring wheel tightened when she saw no objections from him. She gritted her teeth. She couldn't help it!

Hah! Objections? You must be fucking delusional, Dominica! He had waited for this. Of course he will welcome her hugs with open arms. See?

Not affected...

Not affected...

Not affected...

She chanted like a mantra.

"Shit!" She hissed.

Aiden went in. She stayed there for a few minutes. When she thought that she's composed enough to face anyone, bumaba na siya ng sasakyan para pumasok sa loob.

Everyone was there. Her parents. Aiden's parents. And of course the bastard himself.

She strutted towards them.

Aiden's mom stood and greeted her.

"Hija, it's nice to see you again.."

"Hello, tita. Goodevening tito." Bati niya bago makipagbeso-beso sa mga ito.

"Sit hija. Your mom told us you were on a business meeting. I'm sure pagod ka." His dad offered the seat beside Aiden.

"Thanks tito." She faked a smile before setting herself on her seat.

As much as she wanted to seat as far away from this man as possible, she can't do that. Well without avoiding any suspicions from their parents.

In her peripheral vision, kitang kita niya ang matiim na pagtitig nito sa kanya. She ignored it.

He have no idea how much she prefer to be away from him.

"---wedding? Dominica?"

She heard her name, "Po?"

"Are you alright, hija?"

"Y-yeah." She cleared her throat, "Of course. So... so about the wedding?" She urged.
