Thank the Bourbon tonight, and curse it tomorrow

Pagbukas niya ng pintuan, ang nakangising si Dani ang bumungad sa kanya. Nagtataka siya kung ano na namang balak nito at sumunod ito sa kanya dito sa condo niya. She doesn't like his stupid grin one bit.

"I know you'd be here and not in your parent's house." He grinned.

She rolled her eyes. "I need world peace." She held her hands up in frustration as she walked in the living room. Sumunod naman sa kanya si Dani na tatawa-tawa lang.

"Screw the world peace. We need fun." Anito na sumalampak sa sofa niya.

Humiga siya sa sofa saka ipinatong ang paa sa hita nito. "I don't like your idea of fun.."

"My idea of fun is supposed to be your idea of fun too. Gosh, isa ka atang matanda na nagtatago sa katawan ng isang dalaga. You need to loosen up. And this party will surely help."

"Last time I did that, I've been in a situation beyond horrible and humiliating I promised I'd never set foot in a club again unless I'm going bankcrupt." She groaned.

"Promises are made to be broken, sweety. Now get your lazy arse off that fabulous sofa and get dressed. We have a party to kill and boys to drool over us." Tumataas baba ang kilay na sabi nito. Saka siya hinila at itinulak papasok ng banyo.

"Argh! Sleep is more fun right at the moment!" Sigaw niya sa nakapinid na pinto ng banyo.

Paglabas niya. Nakalatag na ang dress na gagamitin niya sa party. Napangiti siya. Dani really knows how to pick a killer dress. Isa iyong silver colored dress na hanggang kalahati ng hita niya at may sleeves na hanggang sa wrist niya ang haba. The dress looks demure and sexy at the same time. Isang four inches black pointed stilleto naman ang sapin niya sa paa.

Thirty minutes siyang nag-prepare. Simple lng ang ayos niya. Inilugay na lang niya ang buhok niya. She decided to use eye shadows that could create smokey eyes. Isinuot na niya ang stilleto saka pinasadahan ng tingin ang sarili sa kanyang full lenght mirror. Damn! Hindi siya mahangin pero hindi niya din ide-deny that she killed it. Nakangiting lumabas siya ng kwarto.

"Damn... if that gorgeous look could make a gay straight... " Tumaas ang kilay niya dito, "I'd be running off the hills right now."

She chuckled, "You wish, eh mas babae ka pa sa akin eh."

"So true. Insecure lang ako sa beauty mo ateng. Halika na nga, bago pa magbago ang isip ko na isama ka. Isa kang threat sa mga katulad kong gustong humanap ng matinong love life ngayong gabi." Natatawang sabi nito bago siya hinila palabas ng condo niya.

Iniikot ni Dani ang paningin sa paligid, "Spoiled brat elites who doesn't do anything productive in their life except party and shop. And there's the few businessmen from our circle. Now you know the sum so... let's party!" Sigaw nito saka siya hinila sa isang mesa na meron ng nakalatag ng bote ng Bourbon whiskey. Tumaas ang kilay niya.

"Chardonay are for sissies, sweety. And this is definitely not the place to be sipping some stupid champaigne. Now sit, and let's have fun!" Energetic na wika nito.

Natatawang umupo siya paharap dito. The party is indeed getting fun with these people grinding and dancing like crazy in the dance floor. The atmosphere is getting high. Maybe this kind of fun is not a bad idea afterall. Besides, she needs an escape to get away even just for a moment. Even just for tonight..
