"So what club are you going to join?" I asked Aliyah as we walked through the empty halls. It was after dismissal. People were either home or with their clubs. We were completely lost. Honestly, I was starting to miss the Celibacy club, only because I didn't feel like such a lost freshman after class hours.

"We could join Jo in the Creative writing class." Aliyah suggested.

I chuckled,"You and me both know why she chose that club."

"Right," Aliyah said,"She's into teachers again...you got to admit Mr. Briggs is pretty cute."

"Eww." I said. Sometimes, I just don't understand how girls can be into teachers. I mean. Mr. Briggs is in his mid-twenties and he is single, but he is a teacher! Wanting to date a teacher is like wanting to date your hot step sibling, technically it's not wrong, but it looks and should feel extremely wrong.

"Oh! What about the Dance club?" Aliyah asked.

I thought about it. Dancing. I use to dance when I was younger, I even won an award for it. However, doing anything in front of big crowds has always been a pet peev of mine ever since the sixth grade. Of course, I didn't care dancing in front of people when I was little. I had no care about my appearance then. But, now, it's a different story.

Aliyah dragged me into the auditorium as I tried to hold on the corners of the doors. We had come to a disagreement about the whole Dance club and now we were making a scene.

"C'mon, it's the only thing we have left. I don't want to have to join the geek role playing club!" Aliyah yelled as she tried to pull me off of the doors.

"You're going to start a scene, let go of me!" I yelled back at her.

"The scene was already set girls," A tall guy said. My eyes widened as my eyes glimpsed over the blonde beauty in front of me. His muscular figure showed through his burgdy shirt. Wow, EYE CANDY! This guy definitely wasn't a teacher.

Aliyah turned around to see the guy and I could already see her blushing. "Can hear our characters names and major in dance?" The guy asked.

Aliyah cleared her throat,"Aliyah Grant, r-robot."

"Rose Gordano, cobra." I said, talking a big gulp of saliva. I looked around the auditorium. There was a mix of people sitting in the seats staring at Aliyah and I. Then, I looked to the right of the auditorium. There he was. Kellan was sitting with the band kids. Oh god, he's in the school band. Makes sense. Our school's band isn't like an orchestra, it's a band.

"Well, welcome girls. We are glad to have some new faces here." The guy said.

"My name is Aaron Stykes and the leader of the Dance club, junior by the way." Me and Aliyah let out our deep breaths. He's not a teacher, thank god.

"Now, who's going to show off their dancing skills to us first, all newcomers have to." Aaron said.

Aliyah pulled me in front of her,"Rose will!"

"Do we have a volunteer for a partner for Ms. Rose?" Aaron asked the crowd.

After just a few seconds, Kellan stood up,"I will." My head fell, I hate my life.

I glared at Kellan as we stood a few inches apart on the school stage. He smirked. I rolled my eyes and looked down at the newly tiled floors. This was the first time I'd ever been on top of the school's stage. Of course, I thought the experience would be a little better, because being forced to dance on my will wasn't enough.

"I didn't know you could dance." Kellan whispered.

"You never asked. I think we should've gotten to know each other a little better before you decided to suck off my face." I whispered. It was harsh, but that's how I felt about this whole situation. Kellan always said I was different and he couldn't just wait to try me out. He didn't enjoy it and that's why he didn't talk to me for the remainder of the ride.

"So that's why you're mad." Kellan whispered.

"Mad? No why would I be mad, you only kissed me and then completely shunned yourself from me." "But that's ok Kellan, you were only a experiment anyways, something new I wanted to try." I whispered back. Kellan's smirk turned into a subtle frown and I knew I had got him where it hurted the most, his ego.

"Ok, does our newcomer prefer a song for your preformance?" Aaron asked me, in his beautiful australian accent.

"Wale ft. Miguel Lotus Flower Bomb." I answered confidently.

 "Oh R&B, different." Aaron said.

The music started and I took off my sweater. Good thing I was wearing leggings today, I would've been a monstrosity if I wore jeans. I took my scrunchie out of my hair and started to walk around Kellan. Then I started to dance. He watched me as I waved and did mini hip movements. When the last chorus came up, he twirled me around and we ended up standing there, with the music off, as I held his neck, staring into each others eyes.

The applause started slowly and then grew, that's what signaled me to let go of Kellan, so I did. "Well, that was amazing! You could definitely feel the tension yet chemistry on the stage." Aaron said.

"Thank you." I said. I quickly grabbed my sweater and then ran off the stage and out the auditorium.

I leaned on the lockers as I texted Aliyah. I felt bad that I couldn't stay to see her performance so I told her I'd make it up to her by going to Starbucks and getting her a milkshake. I slid down the locker and sat on the floor. Why did I get wrapped up in Kellan's drama? This is all my fault. It's my fault for getting close to him and it was my fault for letting him come inbetween me and Siarra's friendship. It was my fault for letting him kiss me.

"Rose!" I heard Kellan call. He stood at the end of the hall. I got off the floor and began walking to the exit of the door.

"Rose wait!" Kellan called running after me. I began to walk faster.

He caught up to me and grabbed my hand,"Rose. Please talk to me."

I pulled away from his hold and turned to face him. His facial expression was apologetic. "Ok let's talk."

"Rose, I'm sorry." Kellan said. "I kissed you and I shouldn't have because it was totally uncalled for."

"No, you know what I'm sorry Kellan. This is all my fault, I'm the one that had to be so pure that you just had to try me out." I said with a forced grin, it was the only way I could keep myself from crying.

 "Rose don't-" Kellan began.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. I can live with my best friend hating me, I mean my sister has been doing it for about 4 years now so I shouldn't have trouble right?" I said. "Please Kellan, I wouldn't want you to stress out over me, I'm ok really."
