New Life

OMARI'S POV

After hours of waiting the doctor comes in smiling. Everyone gets up rushing to him. "Is she okay?" D asks. He nods. "She is just fine and so are the babies." Im so happy right now man. Thank you lord, thank you. "Can we see them." I say not being able to contain my excitement. He shakes his head. "Not tonight they have to rest, but tomorrow for sure." I nod. "Im not going home till i see them." D touches my shoulder. "You gotta get some rest b." I nod. "I will but im not living until i see them idont care son." He nods. "Aight. Ill stay with you. You guys go home and get some rest." They nod and leave us there. I sit back down in the chairs and D follows. "You alright man?" I nod and tilt my head back closing my eyes. I wont leave you baby. I drift off to sleep.

I wake up to Nat shaking me and cheesing. I sit up with a bad ass crook in my neck. "Ow.. What?"

"We can see them now come on." She pulls me up and pulls me in the room. When we get in there i see Nique and everyone smiling and looking at a incubator. I get closer and see its our twins. Nique looks at me and her smile gets bigger. I hug her tightly. "I thought i was gonna loose you." She kisses me on the lips. "Ill never leave you baby."

"Ole sentimental asses." We laugh at D then look at the babies. "I wish i could hold them." Nique says smiling at them. I cant believe theyre here right now. I feel so happy i just cheese. My boys, Kamar Elijiah Jones and Leonardo Lorenzo Jones. May 15 2013..

SOME WEEKS LATER

Today is the day we get to take our boys home and im so excited. "Are you finally gonna hold them today." Nique say getting out her bed to use the restroom. Dont judge me, its just theyre so tiny and i feel like if i hold them ill crush them. I breath out. "Okay im ready." She comes out the restroom and picks Kamar up putting him in my left arm then puts Leo in my right. I look at them look up at me and smile. At this moment i feel they are my everything and i wont let nothing or no one take them away from me. I will protect them at all cost. I look up at Nique and smile. "I love them so much."

DOMINIQUE'S POV

I watch Omari hold them and i smile. He looks up at me smiling. "I love them so much." I nod. "Me too." I put my shoes on and my stuff in my bag. "Okay you ready to go?" He looks up and nods. "Yeah let me get them strapped up." He puts them in the carriers and we head out the hospital.

I still feel a little sore from the c-section but im dealing with it, it was all worth it.

We get in the car and i sit in the back with the boys.

When we get home he gets the carriers and i gets the bags. We get inside and i want to do nothing but sleep. "Im so tired." I say sitting on the bed. "You can go to sleep ill handle the boys." I smile. "Thank you babe." He kisses me. "Anything for you." They leave out the room and i lay down and immediately fall asleep.

OMARI'S POV

"Alright boys lets watch this game. We're big Spurs fans, heat can crawl in a ditch." They just look up at me in amazement. Theyre twins but you can tell them apart. They both have their moms hair color but Kamar has his moms greenish brown eyes and Leo has my light brown eyes. "My sons gonna get all the girls." I chuckle to myself and the doorbell rings. I put them in their baby bouncers and open the door. "Yoo whats up my nigga." We do our handshake and i invite him in. "Awww look at the little squirts." He walks over to Kamar and Leo and starts to play with them. "Yeah." I chuckle. "They look just like you when you were a baby."

"I know but got their ma's hair." He nods and sits down. "Soo whats the real reason you here?" He laughs. "Why i gotta be here for a certain reason b i cant just see someone thats like a son to me?" I laugh. "Cause i know you C." He laughs again. "Aight aight im here for some real business." I look at him giving my attention. "I need you to take over my empire." I shake my head. "I gave that life up i cant do it again. I mean i got my kids to look after i dont want Nique to worry that i might not come home i c-" He cuts me off. "I got cancer Mar! Im dying.." I lost of words this man is like a father to me. "Wh-Wh- How long have you known?" He rubs his head. "For awhile and i know what you gonna say. Its incurable and im coming to you because youre the only one i trust enough to take over. I only got a few weeks to live b." I sigh. I gotta make a choice i want to take over and rule the empire but Nique and the boys i want us to be safe. I think ive made my choice.... O Boy is back.....
