New Moon

I snuggled into his chest. He kissed the top of my head.

"Happy Birthday." Emmett whispered. I smiled lightly. "Charlie is coming." He said. I looked up at him and he gave me a quick peck on the lips before leaving the bed.

"See you later?" I say. He sent me his big grin.

"Hell yea." He said before be left.

And that's when my door opened. My dad smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Happy Birthday." He said walking in holding two wrapped things.

He handed me something. I opened it up and it was a camera. I smiled.

"Thanks dad." I said. He handed me something else.

"That's from your mother. We coordinated well she coordinated me its a scrap book to put your pictures in for senior year." He stated. I smiled brightly. I got off the bed and hugged him.

"Thanks dad." I mumbled into his chest as he hugged me back.

"Your welcome and how did you become old so fast?" We pulled away.

"18 isn't that old." I stated.

"Well I don't know is that a gray hair?" He asked pointing to a piece of my hair. My eyes widened a bit.

"What? No." I stated running over to my mirror to check but there was no gray hair. I sent him a look. He just smiled.

"Happy Birthday." Dad said again before leaving.

"Have a nice day at school babe." Emmett said pulling me in for another kiss. I smiled into it.

"No promises." I said getting out of his jeep. I waved as he drove off. I adjusted the bag on my shoulder and walked over to Mike and the others.

"Hey guys!" I said. They smiled. I heard the collective of hey's and hi's. "Do you mind if I take a picture of you guys? My mom want me to make a scrapbook full of memories this year. They huddled together and I held up my blue camera before taking a picture. I saw Bella's jeep pull in.

"Today's the big day, Bella." Bella looked at Jessica confused. "Um R and J essay due."

"Oh yeah."

"Wherefore art thou, Bella?" Mike says. I laugh like the others.

"Let me take a picture of you guys. My mom wants me to put together, like, a scrapbook full of memories." Bella says.

"I take them. I'm not in them." Angela says. I roll my eyes and pull her next to me.

"Don't worry, I'm in the picture. No one will be looking at you guys." Eric says. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Oh look, Cullen's here." Mike said unenthusiastically. He really does not like Edwardo. I called them that during the summer. Me and him became friends. He always looked at me weirdly meaning he was reading my mind. Which is kind of annoying do id think about Emmett and I having sex so he'd stop and I don't think he's done it in a while.

Now Edward and Bella are having their mini make out session. Gross. I turn away. I'm supposed to walk with her to class.

"Ariana!" I hear someone call my name. I turn and saw Jake.

"Jake!" I say happily running over to him and hugging him. He hugged me tightly.

"Happy birthday." He said as we pulled away from each other. I smile.

"Thanks." I said. "What are you doing here?"

"I was picking up a part for the Rabbit. And I wanted to give you this." He holds ups a Dreamcatcher.

"Jake I love it thanks!" I say as he handed it to me.

"No problem." He says.

"Um I'm sorry I gotta get going. But it was great seeing you." I tell him. I hug him again.

We say our goodbyes and I leave. Bella and Edward left me behind. I slightly pouted.

I had to run to catch up to them.

"So how come Jacob Black gets to give you a gift and I don't?" I overhear Edward say.

"Because your girlfriend is stubborn." I pitched in. Bella rolled her eyes and Edward chuckled.

We walked down the halls.

"Bella! Ariana!" I hear Alice say as she hopped over a rail and hugged me then Bella. "Happy Birthday!" She then handed Bella and I a wrapped present.

"I thought I said no presents." Bella stated.

"I've already seen you both open it, and guess what, you love it. You're gonna wear it tonight. Our place." Alice says. I chuckled at her antics. "Come on please? It'll be fun."

"Alright fine." Bella caved in.

"Great! See you tonight at 7:00. Our place. She skipped over to Jasper.

"Jasper no fair with the mood control thing." Bella said.

"Sorry, Bella. Happy....never mind." Jasper says before he and Alice walked away. I shook my head.

"You can't trust vampires." Edward said. Trust me."
